House / Villa - Figueira da Foz from 4/8 people

Lovely location, house was very clean and well presented. Jorge gave us all the information we needed prior to the trip. The house is spacious and was ideal for us as a family of 4 (2 teens). The best bits are a lovely (immaculate )pool, excellent BbQing facilities and nice patio areas. If you are a young family the house and pool are secure, there is a pool room so u can shower kids straight from the day’s activities, pool toys were available during our stay. For adults, it is very spacious, as well as two good dining areas inside there are two areas outside that you can use. The rooms are a double, a twin, a bunk bed twin and a single (possibly with a pull out to make it a twin/double). The size of the kitchen and entertainment areas inside and out would make it easy for two families to share. There is plenty of kitchen equipment (cutlery, plates etc). The dishwasher and washing machine are a bonus, as are the multiple fridges and freezers, very useful if you are self catering. Out and about lots of good supermarkets in the area. A 15 min downhill stroll into town for restaurants. We found Ubers really easy if we needed them to get back. We had a lovely stay.

Great location, nice house with pool.

The house is clean, with plenty of room and located in a good and quiet neighborhood. The swimming pool is bigger than appears on the photos and has a lot of playing toys and is well maintained. The backyard is private and clean. So is the house, and everything one can need during the day is available. Restaurants and beach is in walking distance. The owner Jorge is very friendly and helpfull and is really considering towards his guests. We really recommend staying at this house, and want to thank Jorge and his wife for a great stay during our holidays.

This villa is perfectly located. Close to motorway and within walking distance to town and beach. The house's facilities are good and although the decor is old-fashioned, there are many opportunities and rooms to unfold. The swimming pool and garden are a wonderful place to stay and the terrace is lovely for evening coziness. Jorge is an attentive host who wants the best for his guests. We had a wonderful starting point for relaxation and trips around Portugal

The location of the appartement is perfect in a quiet neighborhood and still close to everything in Figueira. Same goes for the pool area. There was more than enough room for the four us. In general you get what is needed although it is rather old fashioned. The renter shows large attention to his tenants and the dog is playful. The appartement is only used in the season and due to that the use of dehumidifiers is noticeable.

We had a nice stay at Figueira da Foz. The house is well equipped with everything you can imagine and all you need. From kitchen tools to toys for the kids and parents. Very positive! Perhaps it's better to have an inventory before you pack your stuff at home. can save a lot of time and space in the car. We had a kindly welcome by the house owner and his dog. Jorge did all he can to made the visit as best it can get. Figueira da Foz is a good town on the beach to discover the middle of Portugal. If you want to visit some historical sites and to discover the feeling of What Portugal is all about. In max90 minutes driving you can discover a lot of it. The house itself is well located, not in the most crowded part of the city. But walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Nice free summer concerts and lot's to see in the city itself.

The most attractive part of this location is the garden and the pool.The house is a little bit old and needs to be renewed,one of the bathrooms looks really poor and the kitchen is also from the sixties.Our stay there was almost perfect,though.Our grandchild had lots of fun in the pool and the barbacues gave us a couple of delicious meals.Mr. Abreu,the owner ,who lives upstairs,was extremely kind and helpful with my family in general and with my husband in particular.Wehad problems with our car and he did everything he could to help.In general we can recommend the location as a good place to enjoy the peace and the lovely weather of this part of Portugal.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable appartment. We have four boys who spent most of their time in the swimming pool. The pool was the highlight of our stay and is a generous size, well equipped with inflatable boats and an inflatable goal for water sports. There is also a large garage space which the boys used as a play area, with bikes and a good assortment of sports equipment. it did feel at times that the pool was quite cut off from the house with access to the pool, garden and patio areas only through the front door at the side of the house, but this is only a minor criticism. The pool house accessed by a short ladder had a fridge, stereo and coffee machine and there were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The appartment has a very traditional feel and although at times we felt it could do with some modernisation (the main reason we didn't rate it five stars), we appreciated its charm and originality. It was extremely spacious, comfortable, cool, well equipped and wifi was reliable. The owner, Jorge Abreu, lives in the appartment above and was very attentive during our stay. Our check-in process was extremely thorough but accompanied by a generous supply of port and snacks. He gave us great advice on some excellent day trips, restaurants, shops and the best Portuguese wines to try. Jorge checked in with us every day and used the pool sparingly while we were there. He had a very well behaved dog called Joca who our boys enjoyed having around. We were within easy walking distance of supermarkets, the town centre and the beach. Although the sea is a long way from the promenade, there are walkways to ease the journey and loads of space to spread out on the sea-front. If you are looking for modern chic, then this is probably not the place for you, but we would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable place to stay with a fantastic pool.

The location is very central and 10 minute walking distance to shopping, beach, casino and downtown area. The owner is very hospitable and friendly - he is always willing to help out. The pool and outside facilities are outstanding--the kids enjoyed it immensely. I would highly recommend this spot for families with children.
