This property lived up to all expectations. No hesitation in recommending a stay here. Located almost at the waters edge with plenty of activity in the adjacent boat yard and the daily return of the commercial fishing boats. Boulangerie within walking distance and restaurants and cafes a short drive away. Very good Sunday market and smaller market on Tuesday.

We could not believe just how lucky we were to find this fabulous house, literally on the edge of the beach. We had a really warm welcome from the owner and her lovely parents who live next door. They were on hand should there be any problems, but were not intrusive in any way. The house is equipped to a very high standard for all your holiday needs and more. It is extremely well designed, with plenty of space, is light and airy with the most amazing views of both the beach, the sea and also the working port to the side of the property. Although the port is close, there is no intrusion by noise or smell and the big bonus is that you can buy your fish straight from the trawlers as they start to return from around four thirty in the afternoon. We found the port really interesting, with always something going on. If you want to have a closer fishy experience then you can visit Haliotika, a fishing discovery centre, for adults and children, really worth a visit. The beds are so comfortable with good quality bed linen and with the shutters down on the windows really cosy and quiet. We explored all of the area around Le Guilvinec, as far as Quimper and to Benodet and Concarneau. There are so many places to stop and explore along the way, with countless beaches, villages and wonderful views everywhere. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property and would love to return again soon
