House on Quicksand Pond...close to beach

This is a perfect house for family gatherings! We found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed to cook multiple large meals which is hugely helpful when traveling. We hugely appreciated having firewood available too! Would love to book the house again in the future.

The Quicksand House was amazing! We stayed the week and everything was just as expected! Very clean and plenty of space for everyone! We are definitely going to be coming back!

Beautiful property, manicured, expansive and well groomed with a pond in the back…what could be better?! Comfortable outdoor furniture for dining, great outdoor shower and lots of space inside for sleeping, socializing and eating together. Baby cousins played together and the beaches nearby were perfect. Comfy furniture too! Work space was great for those working virtually also. Loved it!

We were welcomed with a plate of Little Compton themed iced sugar cookies...a delicious start to our stay!The well maintained property was tucked away down a country road and sat on Quick Sand Pond. It was pastoral and beachy all at once...spectacular.The house was roomy, immaculate and well stocked.Tons of stuff to do in the area: beach, breweries, hiking, or just hanging out in the yard.The owners were easy to reach and quick to respond to the few questions we had.Highly recommend this property.

Fantastic bothl inside and out

Grandparents, 3 sons and families, 4 grandchildren ages 12 to 17stayed and house fit all of us very comfortably! Played games in house and in the backyard! Biked and rowed to the beach! Some of us drove! House had everything we needed! Hosts were very helpful!

My family had a great week in Little Compton despite less than ideal weather. The property is very private and beautiful, great place to just sit outside and socialize. The house is well equipped and accommodated both the adults and kids. My one complaint is the lack of shades in the 2nd floor bedrooms. The early light meant that the children especially were waking up much earlier than usual.

This is a nice house on a beautiful piece of land. It had more than enough room for the five of us, and the kitchen was well equipped. The pictures of the outdoors really don’t do justice to what a lovely spot it is. We also really enjoyed exploring the area.

When looking for a place for our family Thanksgiving gathering I was not confident we could find something that would meet our needs. We wanted something 'nice' but not too precious that I would spend the weekend worrying about the kids damaging something. And we couldn't pay some of the outrageous prices we were seeing. This place fit the bill. it was upscale while still feeling homey and comfortable. And the price was fair. I appreciated the 'extras' such as a folding table in the basement, extra folding chairs, and a fully stocked kitchen. The Primary Suite had a very comfy King bed, a huge closet and the redone bath was luxurious. The owner was quick to respond to questions. There was a firepit and a pond on the property. More than one TV which was nice too. We highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Quicksand Pond. We were in town for a family wedding in Westport. My 4 children, their spouses and my 5 grandchildren and I were very comfortable in your lovely home. The kids loved kayaking and spending time around an evening campfire. Thanks so much!

This is our third year staying at Quicksand Cottage. We love the setting on the pond, enabling us to kayak, fish and swim right from home. And it is an easy trip to the ocean. Because the weather was not on our side, we spent a lot cooking in the great kitchen, watching the Olympics, playing pingpong doing puzzles and playing games. The house accommodates people doing lots of things in different spots. It is an easy place to relax in. Sara and Jeff are terrific hosts, very responsive and helpful. We love staying here!

Gorgeous property daily views of wildlife. S’mores every night at firepit. Whole family 6 adults 3adult kids and 5 grandkids hope to have our annual family reunion here.

This was a beautiful, well equipped house. 2 separate eating areas (one indoor and one outdoor) provided plenty of space for our group of nine to have family dinners. The yard is spacious with plenty of room for games, a fire pit and yard chairs provided. Owners were lovely and made themselves available but not intrusive. Pond was terrific for kayaking.

My cousins and I were doing a family reunion in Little Compton and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hosts were quick to reply, kind and incredibly helpful. We highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for an all around perfect vacation. We are excited to book here again.

Fantastic house with everything you could possibly need in an ideal location close to everything. Sara the host (owner) is always available and responds quickly to any request or questions you may have. We have been renting in Little Compton for many years and will return for our 3rd stay here - its the perfect vacation home for our large family !

Very quiet and private location. House and property is very nice with lots of space to play outside and had basically everything we needed there for a great family vacation.
