We loved being right on the beach! You can snorkel or kayak at anytime. The water was often so clear that you could see fish and coral from above the water. The home is spacious and had many appliances. We appreciated the mosquito nets as two people in our family have bad reactions. Great activities and shops only a short drive away.

Our family had a nice stay at this home. The location was easy to find and had nearby grocery stores and restaurants. The beach access is definitely a huge bonus and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board. The water was so clear and calm at times we could see the fish from the surface without the use of our snorkels. We also appreciated the 3 full bathrooms and plenty of beds. The sunsets were amazing and the beach was very clean.

We loved our stay at this property. It had everything we needed, was lovely and spacious and best of all was right on the beach. We spent our days kayaking, snorkelling and relaxing in the back yard. It is perfect for larger families. It has everything you need for self catering and isn't far from amenities like shops, restaurants etc. Ideally you would have your own form of transport.

WOW! The beach view is excellent, right on the beach. We loved it. The property had kayaks, and it is wonderful and relaxing using kayaks on the lagoon. Wi-Fi was limited, but the host proposed to us to add credit and extend it, but unfortunately it was too late, and it got disconnected. We were not sure what to do with the garbage, we did not find garbage bags in the property so we had to purchase it ourselves. The other thing that I have to mention is: do not ask help or direction from neighbors across the street, they will give you wrong address. It seems the French national and the Tahitian nationals have problem with each other. The property we stayed belongs to a Tahitian national, and the neighbor in front is a French man. He gave us all wrong address and wrong information about everything. We message the host if we could check out late but because of the internet got disconnected we did not get her replay message. We stayed 30 minutes after the check-out time.. sorry about that. The grocery store is about 5 minutes walking distance. In short it was very good stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and snorkeled out to the reef from the house everyday. The reef is vibrant and rays swam along the shore in front of the house every evening. We walked the beach each afternoon and enjoyed the sunsets in the garden every night. We spent as much time as possible outside because the yard was so beautiful and the covered patio was perfect for meals, snacks, and playing card games. The kids had a blast playing in the sand on the little beach. The listing is overall very accurate. Yes there are mosquitoes, but it’s French Polynesia so bring bug spray. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything you could need. There is a washing machine and ample clotheslines for drying. There is a small grocery store just across the road with fresh baguette every morning (get there early, it goes fast!). The limited WiFi works well if you need it. We enjoyed our 5 days here and were so sad to leave. Thank you to our wonderful host for sharing this little slice of paradise with us.

We loved the location of this property. It was close to all of the activities we booked. There were lots of restaurants within a 10-minute drive as well. It was spacious and we loved being right on the water. We had beautiful sunsets and kind neighbors with friendly dogs. We kayaked daily and saw rays and sharks right outside. Make sure you get a rental car in advance as this is needed. We would for sure stay here again! ☺️

This is the most amazing VRBO. We loved the rustic house. Everything is so charming. The location is amazing. The snorkeling out front is incredible. The front yard is perfect for hanging out with your family. We loved the huge picnic table on the lanai. It was perfect for family dinners and games. We also loved the privacy of the bungalow. Thank you Teva for the best family vacation ever!!

I am giving honest review so that you know what to expect as i wish i knew this to make decision whether to book based on pro and con. PRO: The owner Teva is super nice from online booking to end of the trip. The house view is spectacular, lagoon is the backyard. The water was calm for kayaking every day. You can see fish from the kayak without the need to get off and snorkel. My 2 kids 11 and 15 enjoyed very much kayaking. We as family loved putting chairs by the shore, watching sunset and having dinner by the beach. There was clothes washing machine. CON: Mosquitoes inside the house. House has no air condition nor ventilation. The only ventilation was the bathroom windows with open holes to outside but no screen covers so those were Mosquitoes and flies entry ways. All doors and windows had no screens so we couldn't leave them open to let ocean breeze in as afraid of gettjng more flies and Mosquitoes. There are fans in the house, but that were all we got. All of us got Mosquitoes bites all over our legs. The only protection we got at night during sleep were in the Mosquitoes nets over 2 king beds in the 2 bedrooms. My kids were so afraid of the Mosquitoes that they hid in the bed under the net the entire time when they are inside the house. We had to burn the Mosquitoes repellent coils day and night and breathe in the insense smoke to avoid Mosquitoes bites. This house would have been a great experience for us had there were screen doors as there was no A/C.

We had a wonderful time at the Lagoon House. It was clean and well organized, with everything we needed. The kids loved playing on the beach, and we also kayaked and snorkeled in the lagoon. We should have spent more time in the bungalow, which was so relaxing. Our only concern was the grass sprouts which attracted tons of bees. We didn't have any real problems but were just a bit worried for the kids. Overall it was a great stay and we'd happily return!

We really liked the layout of the property with 3 bathrooms and open living space. Even though there was no A/C, the fans and the breezes kept us comfortable and mostly bug free. Having clotheslines was helpful. The deck by the bungalow was perfect for watching sunsets and star viewing. We had a very friendly kitty that adopted us and provided lots of entertainment and sweetness. The kayaks were great and easy to launch and put away. The snorkeling was wonderful right in front of the house. Being close to the Tiki Village added local ambiance with the drums. Saw rays and sharks right off the beach. Would definitely come back…could have used a few more towels and less restrictive internet. Needed more toilet paper and paper towels. Would have liked hand soap and a hair dryer. Overall, a great time!
