House full of charm in peace, 4 rooms, big terrace full south, Jacuzzi

Very comfortable house with a nice ‘homely’ feel. The South facing terrace had sunshine all day and well into the evening, even for mid October, with plenty of outdoor seating. It was also remarkably quiet and private considering the number of other houses around. Being 5 minutes from the centre of St Jean de Luz and close to the main route to Spain it is an ideal location for touring the area.

We stayed in Corentin's quaint house in June. The weather was fantastic (better than average I think?) and so the outside space with its deck, seating area and of course the hot tub was obviously the biggest positive. Corentin is lovely, extremely communicative and very kind. We had a couple of small issues whilst we were there and Corentin instantly tried to solve these issues to our satisfaction. The house itself is a home from home. This is not a standard holiday villa, it is a home that feels lived in, as if you are staying with someone and does have items and decorations that belong to the owner and if this is not your preference then maybe this is not the house for you, however we had a lovely time. This is in an excellent location for your holiday in the Basque Country - 2 minutes from the supermarket by car, and 15 minutes drive from St Jean de Luz or 30 minutes walk along a busy road. St Jean de Luz is lovely - great markets, great seafood, 2 Michelin starred restaurants (Le Kaïku is amazing!) and has excellent transport links. We had trips to Biarritz by train (we recommend La Cabane a Huîtres) and the house is less than an hours drive from Bayonne and St Sebastian (amazing Pinxtos). It is 2 hours from Bilbao ferry terminal. We would also recommend a drive to Pau to see the Avenue des Pyrénées. I would say the house needs a little updating but is very quaint with brilliant outdoor space and a lovely owner. We would highly recommend it and very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Absolutely Amazing in every aspect! from the initial correspondence with the owner to the goodbye check-out process. The house is better then the photos on the site. It Feels warm and inviting has all the basic amenities plus a few luxuries. The location is superb, close to city center and big grocery stores, boulangerie, etc. The newest feature we got to enjoy was a huge outside exotic wood deck patio. There are three different areas in the house to eat as a large family. We were 4 adults and two boys, (two families each with a 3 year old.) There was also tons of up to date brochures and maps of all things to do and see in the area. This part of the world is wonderful, such a beautiful place with such nice beautiful people. And staying here in this house made it even more special. After a day being out and about seeing everything we couldnt wait to come back to the house. I will for sure return this winter for a long weekend.
