We loved our stay—the house was in the condition that matches the posting. Very clean, safe, and welcoming. We shopped before we got there so we cooked for every meal and found all that we needed in the kitchen. We visited Kings Canyon and Sequoia on different days while we were there; it was easy to get to/from both parks from the house. The last night we enjoyed the jacuzzi and hung out on the patio. It was great! No complaints, really. We contacted the host once for something really minor and she got right back to us via the app. Thanks for a great and welcoming stay.
Excellent
We stayed 2 nights, cabins was exactly as posted. Location was perfect Sequoia park entrance is no more than 20 min away. There’s a couple of restaurants and a brewery within minutes as well.
This was a great property for our visit to Sequoia National Park. The property was very clean and well appointed. It was even better than the photos. I enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch in the morning for breakfast, listening to the nearby river. It was just a couple miles from several restaurants, groceries, and gas. The check-in process was very easy. We had a bear visit us (outside the fence) on our last morning. Although the house is indeed 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park, most of the hiking trails are an hour away on a very steep, curvy road. But this is the case for all properties near the park. Overall we were very happy with the property, the location, and our stay.
My son said that the place was charming, and I couldn't agree more. The place was clean, quiet, well stocked, great water pressure. It was almost like glamping, emphasis on the glam. Would 100% stay here again!
The property was nice And secluded. When we first got there we encounter a bear going through the trash but it quickly disappeared once he heard Our car. I contacted the property owner and told her what had happened and Astor if she could send someone to pick up the mess and she offered to do it herself that same day. Their house was nice and clean and the rooms were nice and roomy. They only issue during our stay was that the house was hot even though we had an AC going on. We tried to lower the thermostat to make the house a little bit cooler but for some reason it wouldn’t let us so the house kept being warm. We don’t know whether the AC wasn’t working properly or if the owner was maneuvering the AC thermostat. Other than that Our stay was nice, we only use the house during the night to eat and sleep. The host was very responsive whenever I contacted her And this was very helpful.
Shelbi was very easy to communicate through text the whole time we were there. The property is accurately described through the listing. It is about 15min to the sequoia national park entrance and about 5min or so from the restaurants and markets of three rivers. Their were a lot of bugs and critters as it did say that in the listing so just be prepared and bring bug spray and citronella. It kind of added to the outdoorsy feel of the area. Overall the house served its purpose: place to stay, sleep, shower and relax after a long day.
This was our first time using VRBO and I was a little nervous but everything was perfect! This place is super cute, clean and very comfortable. The sound of river was a plus!
