We enjoyed our stay, and loved the location. The yard is large, but it is all on a hill. Unfortunately it rained a lot while we were visiting so it made the yard difficult for walking a dog. Obviously the owners can’t control the weather though. Beautiful view and close to everything without being in a busy area.

Great Bachelorette girls trip!

Beautiful home and location. The hot tub was perfect after hiking through the day. We enjoyed viewing the stars while sitting around the fire pit. Everyone slept great! We really enjoyed staying here for our trip away from home.

Upon arrival, there were several dishes we had to wash in order to be able to cook what we were making for dinner that evening. Other than that, and a few other cleanliness issues, we had a great time. The view was nice. The kids loved the hot tub and the Red River Gorge/Natural Bridge area is great for hiking.

The house and property were amazing! Easy 20 to 30 minute drive to all Red RIver Gorge attractions. Beds were very comfortable, hot tub was great for the evenings, kitchen was well-stocked. Highly recommended.

From the Hot tub to Mountain View’ has everything you might want or need. Very clean. Only thing I could think of is having a pitcher for tea and recommendation for where to get fire wood. Would definitely recommend or come back.

Everything was exactly what we needed and the views were great. Host was very attentive and polite with great customer service which doesn't exist anymore so that was a breath of fresh air.

We hike at the Gorge often and this has been our favorite rental! Very clean and well stocked. The beds were actually comfortable! We all slept great. An excellent place for a family to stay.

Lovely home with all you need to enjoy a getaway. Well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, even laundry detergent. Large comfortable couch. Our second stay at the property and we will return!

We had a wonderful time here for my birthday! The hot tub wouldn’t warm up the first night and the host sent a technician immediately the next morning to fix it which we appreciated so much!! Definitely recommend this home and host!

Very nice house in a good location. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Nice open kitchen with new appliances. The house and hot tub were clean. Plenty of bath towels and extra towels were provided for the hot tub. Fire pit was nice too. There was a step down from the front door into the house which may be difficult for elderly or disabled people with mobility issues. Owners were responsive and answered any questions I had right away. Very nice house and I would rent it again.

We loved our getaway weekend at this beautiful home. The home was clean and had everything one would need. The kitchen was beautiful and good size and was completely stocked. The home had nice views from inside the house and great views outside. It had a nice area for the fire pit and there was a hot tub right outside. We had a very nice relaxing trip at this home. We definitely will be back.

The property was fantastic! Also had visitors from neighboring dogs that went exploring. The owner of the property was helpful trying help us contact the owner.

Awesome stay. Really enjoyed the veiw from the hot tub. This was a special treat after spending the day out jeeping. Good central location to enjoy the daniel boone backcountry byway and natural bridge. Outstanding communication from the owners. Responded within minutes. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nicely decorated with large open areas, lots of room Worked out perfect for us!!!

We were provided with everything we needed. The house was lovely and fit our needs while we were in the area. Very quiet and peacful retreat. Definitely reccomend staying here if you are visiting the Red River Gorge.

This property fulfilled all our needs for space, dog accommodations, beautiful views and privacy and was also in a pretty convenient location. Drove 20-30 minutes for a beautiful hike and also 20-30 minutes the opposite direction to run into a decent size town for any of our shopping needs. For a first time to Kentucky, it was a great choice!

We chose the property because it looked clean in the pictures and has a hot tub -it was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub after hikes and a day of climbing. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable -my husband has back pain and kept saying he wished he could take it home with us. Overall, a great experience!

The house was perfect for rest, nice and quite. It was close enough for our adventures off roading and zip-lining. The hot tub was a great bonus.

This was a great place to stay for a quick girls' trip! The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful additions and with four of us there, the sectional was perfect to sit and chat. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having the Keurig there to make a quick cup of coffee. It was a great experience. Thanks so much!

Our family enjoyed this home so much and will be back again! The location was great—easily accessible close to town’s amenities but also very private location. We loved the beautiful views out the front window and kids plus adults all enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and great games for kids’ entertainment. We also appreciated the surplus of towels and pillows! Very clean and well kept home. We will definitely be back!

Overall, the property was lovely. It was very clean and cozy. The hosts make sure all of the essentials there including several board games/cards to pass the time. It was rainy and chilly for our trip, so we enjoyed using the space to unwind in the hot tub and relax. The hosts were easy to communicate with and do a great job of making your stay the best as possible. We would stay here again and would love to come back in the summer time!

Beautiful home..awesome view! Took my wife home to visit with family over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful time. Kitchen is nicely stocked with all cooking utensils. Owner was easily accessible and made our visit special. Will definitely return.

Our family of six absolutely loved this place! We came to the area to explore the Red River Gorge and detox from our constant digital connection to phones, TV, and the internet. While the house was fully equipped with excellent internet access and several televisions, we chose not to use these amenities. This property was the perfect launchpad to reconnect as a family and ring in the new year.The setting was peaceful, loved the mountain view. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of bamboo landscaping at the front of the property, which obscured the road and emphasized the beautiful scenery. The house itself was very clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. A detailed house manual was provided, which we found very helpful. There were also plenty of games available to enjoy with our children.Toward the end of our visit, the property owners reached out to warn us of impending rough weather. They were incredibly gracious and accommodating, which added to our positive experience. We can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

One of the best houses we’ve stayed at- the hosts provided everything we needed for a fun family vacation. We enjoyed the board games, hot tub, comfy beds, and enough seating for everyone. Nice to have a washer/dryer and second bathroom. Highly recommend!

Awesome location and beautiful home. A little secluded but close enough to food and gas. Perfect IMO! It was a birthday present to my 16 y/o with disabilities. My oldest lives in Lexington and she wanted a family weekend for her Birthday. Her other request was for it to have a hot tub, which this beautiful home has. The home had to be pet friendly, as my oldest has our grand-dog as well, which it is. Can’t say enough about how beautiful the home is. Owners did an absolute awesome job on the layout and decor. Wife and I slept the best we have any quite some time. Did I mention the hot tub was amazing, cause it is! Plenty of space and then some for our family of 5 plus our dog. We will definitely be back!

Hardwicks Creek Haven was a very quiet and peaceful place for our family to stay together while we laid a family member to rest in the family cemetery. We found it a charming place to be with family.
