Hooked Up! Perfect Bay House with Dock - less than 1/2 mile walk from beach!

Very nice home, was close to the beach. The owners put a lot of thought into making this place very comfortable. Nice dock however no access close by to launch.

Awesome place. Best vrbo place I've stayed as far as meeting expectations. Super comfortable and convenient to everything. My son and eye loved spending evenings on the dock fishing and catching crabs. My family definitely plan on staying again.

We had an excellent time in our 1 week stay at Hooked-up. The host was friendly and gracious and easy to work with. We will stay here again! Looking forward to it!

Awesome place. Very quiet. The screened back porch is lovely to sit on and not worry about bugs. House was well stocked. Beds comfy and excellent hot water. Short walk to the beach and enjoyed seeing the roosters/chickens roaming at the stop sign. Easy check in , no complaints! Would definitely return to this home.

Host responsive, many amenities, kitchen stocked with utensils, pots/pans, cooking utensils, excellent dock and location, hot tub. Will stay again!

Fishing paradise!

Everything was great. I love this place, the house, the location and the fact that it’s dog friendly.

Perfect for our stay this fall. We enjoyed the screened porch and dock for a peaceful week of relaxation. The kitchen was well equipped and the use of beach chairs and umbrella was an added bonus.

Great location for husband an I and our 2 dogs. Centrally located on St. George, close to everything. Nice and quiet. I would recommend this property. Kitchen was big, roomy and updated. I would just recommend some newer living room furnishings. Couch could use a deep clean.. there were kids snack foods between the cushions. Guest bathroom shower curtain falls down easily.. Overall, great place, would stay here again!

Very clean, aesthetic, updated property. The kitchen was very well stocked, the location on the canal was perfect. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the water. Great that it was so dog friendly. Easy walk or drive to the beach, which was also dog friendly.

Great stay. Great host. First time on SGI and we will definitely be coming back to stay at this listing.

Roomy, comfortable and scenic view

Tucked away at end of a canal with a fabulous wrap around screened porch. Porch with many treasures: swing, sofa, chairs, rocking chairs, high top with gas/charcoal, stools, even dumbbell weights tucked away in a bin. Under house fully paved with screened in hot tub, chairs to use on well maintained dock.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we can’t wait for the 3rd!!! LOVE the home, the location, and the fabulous screen porch overlooking the canal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hooked Up. The house is very comfortable and the location was great. We took a boat and went fishing in the bay. We even ate our catch one night. Plus we really like SGI. It’s old Florida at its best.

Hooked Up! is a really great place. I should probably say it's terrible so I can keep it to myself! lol. We loved the location and size of the house. Very clean and comfortable and Kelly is a very responsive host and answered my questions immediately. We're looking forward to next year!!

This was an Amazing trip. The property was wonderful and very roomy. We all enjoyed the spacious decks and the warmth of the fireplaces. Wonderful time on the best island Florida has to offer for some R&R. Great location for a close walk to the beach to catch those early sunrises. Awesome back porch with screens to enjoy the cooler evenings without the bugs. Would stay here again.

We were so happy with the house and property. Exactly as listed. Exceptions: no propane for 2 fireplaces on deck, no bikes. The big thing was the smell. It hit us like a ton of bricks when we walked in! The owner had scented jars in every room. Since I have allergies, we put those on the porch all the days we were thethere.

Pros: I really did have an amazing time at Hooked Up! I rented a fishing kayak and spent every day out on the bay. I really appreciated the easy access to the canal, and the walk to the beach was very short/easy. The outdoor patio space is MASSIVE. The indoors is also very spacious. Cons: did not give enough TP, garbage bags, or dish washing detergent for our one week stay. There were no batteries in some of the TV remotes, the fireplace remote, or in the guest room fan/light remote. One of the kitchen table chairs was badly broken/unstable and unusable. Neither the oven light or stove light worked. It was my birthday and my girlfriend attempted to bake a cake, but when heating the oven the oven's inside started burning and was incredibly smelly. I do not think that oven had been cleaned in a very long time and so it was also unsable which was very sad because the homemade birthday cake was ready to go in. We ended up having to simply throw the cake away. For cleanliness, the master bedroom bedsheets and pillow cases were covered in small black hairs, and so was one of the bath towels in the master bath. This was quite gross. One last thing, we were never contacted by the managing company with a code to enter the property and messages on VRBO to the owner on the day we were supposed to enter were not being answered. This ended up being not such a huge deal because the owner did answer the phone when we eventually had to call, but still this should not have happened.

Great ranch house style home.Problem is the guy in the trailer house next door, strange fellow who watches.

Quiet area, relaxing stay.

This property was just as advertised. We came for a duck hunting trip and had some vehicle issues after the first day and Alan the neighbor and property manager was super helpful. We will be back!

The house is very clean, comfortable, quiet, well stocked, and well designed. The back porch is large and screened, with very comfortable furniture. There are also two propane fire pits that make sitting outside comfortable even in cool December mornings and evenings. The dock is very nice for sitting and looking out into the canal at the many birds. Best of all is the very easy access to the canal from the yard. I spent many hours kayaking in the bay, leaving directly from the back yard of the house. Kelly is a great host and very responsive to texts. I highly recommend this house!

The property was nice and clean. Enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful area and the wildlife. Saw a manatee even!
