Honu Hale - Vacation Home in Gated Community Near the Beach with Private Pool Area

Our entire family (son’s family and our daughter’s family) all met here for a week. There were 11 in all ranging in age 72-8. Plenty of sleeping spaces and the location was excellent.

We stayed at the property in June 2021 - a group of 7 adults + 8 kids ranging from 2 to 15 years old. It was the perfect location & setting in a beautiful neighborhood. The beach was a quick walk across the street, making it easy for kids to go back/forth between the beach and our house (which we did a lot). The community pool for the neighborhood was just across the street from us. And we loved having our own private pool. The property is very well maintained and exactly as pictured. Appreciated having the rental bikes. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great house for our family vacation. Most in our group thought it was the best Destin vacation we’ve had and we’ve had many! House was perfect for our 2 families, adult children and grandchild. Location to the beach,private pool, large kitchen to cook and eat in, bikes included and several games gave us plenty to do without leaving the community! We were able to socially distance same as we are at home, have everything we needed and feel somewhat protected from covid. Well needed fun and relaxing vacation.

We love staying in Destiny by the Sea because of the location. This house is 20 second walk to the beach. It is great to have the private swimming pool outside the back door. The kids love this. All the bedrooms are good size and have their own bathrooms and the extra parking nearby is a plus. I would stay in this house again.

We loved every bit of our stay. Very short walk to beach was great. It was so close it was easy to go back and forth from the beach to the house. Beautifully furnished!. The picture on the VRBO site don’t capture how nice and functional the house is. The first floor is amazing. With a bar and an island off the kitchen it seats 12 in bar chairs. There is also another table which could easily seat up to 8 children. The house is so nice it sort of surprises me that they rent it out. Our family (eight adults and 4 children) could not have found a better play to stay and enjoy a beach weekend! The gated community and private beach access of Destiny by the Sea provided us with a great place for us to stay. The extra cost for staying within the Destiny by the Sea community is worth the cost.

Beautiful home Lots to do so glad they had a pool table. Fun when it rained. Lots of stairs to climb. Scary with wet feet and elderly. Pool was nice and the main pool was nice. Prompt attention to fix the microwave when we called. Beach was beautiful.

We had a great trip here at Honu Hale! The house is great - perfect for a large group - clean, taken care of, steps from the beach.

We've stayed in about 15 homes in Destiny by the Sea. This was by far our best trip ever. This home was just completely renovated and it shows. Best pool we've ever had in the neighborhood as well. Sad to see so many older homes in disrepair in such an amazing neighborhood, but this house delivered. Five Star was amazing to work with. Provided bikes for our use at no cost as well as many other amenities such as free golf and fishing. After this trip we would never use another company. Thanks so much for the amazing memories!
