Honeywood Lodge by Bloom Stays with Indoor Pool ideal for families and children

We stayed here with the kids and the indoor pool was the clear highlight of the trip. It was warm, clean, and well managed, which made it genuinely easy to relax while the children burned off energy. The pool area never felt chaotic, even when busy, and safety was clearly taken seriously. Outside the pool, everything was practical rather than flashy, which actually worked well for a family stay. The kids were happy, tired at the end of each day, and asking to go back, which is usually the best test. Overall, it delivered exactly what we needed for a stress-free family break without any unpleasant surprises.

The lodge was wonderful, and extremely comfortable. Comfy mattresses and sofas, made for a very relaxed stay. Property had enough utensils and was well equipped. The pool was amazing, and really warm. Alot of indoor pools we have used are never as warm! Shower didnt seem to get hot in pool area but no bog deal. Beautiful setting in woodland, and was very private and peaceful. Is a little rough around the edges if you study but this was so minor and had no impact on our stay. We had an amazing time and would return again. My only negative would be to the bin, there was no lid for it which was a bit annoying as food smells lingered a little!

Children loved the pool!- very warm and they spent hours playing! Beautiful, well-kept grounds, two fridges (up and down stairs) , football table and air hockey was fun! Beds were comfy with plenty of towels and bedding. Few niggles- WiFi was poor and there was no service in area for own 4G (Tv did keep losing signal too) . Also the living room windows were broken on arrival.

First class pool made our holiday. Clean and well maintained and kept at a nice temperature for lounging around. Bi-fold doors dificult to open and close, probably suffering at the hands of inexperienced people! House equipped with quality furniture and fittings. It does get hot upstairs during a heat wave, but just about tolerable with correct use of curtains and windows. Several niggles with lack of maintenance, but nothing too serious to prevent our enjoyment. Would love to come again.

Brilliant pool, whole family really loved it. Property functional, but very hot especially at night. Fans supplied, but not easiest to use. Cleanliness inside quite good, but outside balconies needed sweeping badly and clearly not done recently, which would have expected before our arrival.. No phone reception in Property but was aware of this before arrival, was great could use WhatsApp to contact bloom stays as we had issue with washing machine, and they dealt with it very quickly, great service, even though I am still awaiting my deposit refund. We would definitely recommend this property and bloom stays. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful property! Spacious grounds, thoughtfully equipped, very well maintained. The pool area was wonderful and warm, and seems to have been recently refurbished. The local pub appears to have closed but it was only a short drive to nearby towns.We enjoyed a very peaceful stay here, thanks a lot.

The property is rurally located off a lane, yet close to Canterbury for quick access to sites and amenities. Coming from London, we appreciated being able to see the stars. The owner's property is next door, but we didn't see anyone for the weekend we stayed, so we felt we had the place to ourselves! It was a real treat to access the pool directly from the property without having to go outside and use it whenever we wanted. The pool temp was better than expected given energy costs these days! Facilities like the pool, showers, WCs, bathrooms, were all modern, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Essentials were provided, like tea, coffee, milk, sugar, detergent. The sofas were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to be cosy. The furniture generally seemed to be more of a premium quality. There are also well-maintained grounds with a football goal that would have been great in warmer weather. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return.

The swimming pool took this house to the next level. We visited in December and had an amazing time, but would love to return in the spring/summer as the outdoor spaces look fantastic.

Prior communication was comprehensive and helpful. Location was excellent with easy drives to Canterbury and surrounding area. Loved the pool.

Honeywood Lodge is a pleasant hideaway with ame parking and walk paths. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and within reach of Canterbury High Street. The heated swimming pool was a must have bonus. Had a lovely time with my family. Will definitely do it again.

Fabulous pool - with the Bi-folds open, sun out - could have been in The Med! So easy having the pool connected to the lodge. Huge grounds to explore and play football/games. Superb quiet location - great WiFi too.

Exactly as described. The pool was perfect and the kids loved it. Even had a picnic in the grounds while they played football. Cannot wait to come back.
