Peaceful, off the beaten path, nature, local color. Will stay there again. Not for everyone.

The rental platform asked me to post this so future travellers can avoid such a situation. There is a 2 foot long lizard that lives in the ceiling of the suite, running around above your head all night long. They did not know we had a reservation? So our room wasnt ready. they didn't take the bathroom garbage out which had soiled tissues causing the room to smell. The beds were hard. There is NO wifi, despite being advertised. Also, the air conditioner did not work, too hot to be in there. A board fell from the suspension bridge as we walked across it. Our room was locked while we were out and staff went in there without our permission. Advertised as no children allowed, a honeymoon suite. 15 people having a children's birthday right underneath us, overtaking the entire space. When we contacted them to ask to cancel so we could go somewhere else, they did not believe our complaints. He was condescending and patronising and just kept insinuating I was lying. Said he couldn't refund us as he doesnt know how? Then we got a partial refund, saying he didn't have enough money in the account to give us the full amount he'd promised. Said he'd sent it through PayPal. We've been gone for days, still haven't seen any form of a refund and they have stopped replying to calls all together Do yourself a favour, do not stay here. Its so beautiful, but completely run down and unsafe. Sketchy and unprofessional management, who refuse to follow through with their promises

Really unique and fun place to stay. Such an incredible experience to wake up and see tiny monkeys climbing around outside. The nature, the animals, and the pool/slide were what really made this place so fabulous in our eyes. Note: this is not the place to go for someone looking for a cushy 5-star resort experience. This is a treehouse in a jungle and with that comes jungle things, such as bugs. If those things don’t bother you, definetly stay here! This was our favorite property we stayed at (out of 4) during our time in Costa Rica!

Loved this place! Very clean and beautiful. Jaun Carlos is so friendly and helpful. The waterslide, poo, jacuzzi and zipline were always ready to go.

The room was really like a Tarzan home, like over a tree with a tibetan bridge (very wacky) to enter. All needed was there, but all is very basic.Happily also a good pool was available.

I loved the uniqueness of this place. We stayed in the tree house and it’s everything pictured. The beaches in Quepos are nice but after getting sun burnt and being around all the tourist it was a nice reprieve to just lounge around the pool in peace and quiet. The pool is surrounded by natural plants and trees so it was nice and refreshing to have the heat without the sun. SO many cool places near by as well. Recommend the mangrove boat tour down the road or the Rainmaker forest for a night frog walk. Thanks Paul for your hospitality!

When we arrived we were informed that our room had a problem with a pipe in the bathroom so they gave us a different room, which was just fine as it was much bigger. Although this room also had a pipe leaking in the kitchen so as soon as we turned the tap on the floor was soaking and the tiles were all cracked along the floor from previous water damage over time. The kitchen is very under stocked we had to purchase a few kitchen items to get by and I had to continuously grab items from the other room kitchens in order to cook. There is an oven but no baking trays of any kind to be able to cook in it. There was another leak by the front door where there was a crack outside that let water in when it rained. The tiles were all cracked here as well from the water damage. There are no night stands so there is nowhere to put your phone or a glass of water at night. And there are no lamps in the room so you only have the option of the harsh ceiling lights. We were not given any kitchen cloths for wiping down things or a broom to sweep up so I had to go and find those myself as they do not clean the room at all during your stay. They did change the garbage and a towel out once. They are not great at communicating with you. Our water was out one evening due to a landslide and no one told us until we asked. The power also was acting up and when we mentioned it the afternoon and evening were spent unknowing what was happening as it would go on and off constantly. When I went to check on things because I had an important work meeting that I needed internet for I was told they were working on it. I missed my meeting and it finally stayed on but they didn't let us know it was finished. Also the zip line is no longer in use as it broke and was never repaired. Although the water slide was a lot of fun and they have an outdoor bed that is lovely to use. All in all the place is starting to get run down and will only continue to do so unless repairs, maintenance, and upkeep are done.

We left the day we arrived. There is nothing near by, the property hasn’t been maintained as shown in the images. Checking in was terrible. We had to check in with the child of the neighbors who we had to communicate with threw google translats. They were unaware of changed to our reservation and couldn’t find keys for the room we were hoping to stay in. There were also missing amenities. We had an overall bad experience.

The property seems to be set up with three or four different units available. We had plenty of privacy in the small family house but the rest are all very close to each other so expect you may have neighbors. The property manager is extremely kind but doesn’t speak much English, so practice a bit of Spanish before check in. We speak very little Spanish and had no problems communicating. The pools and slide are refreshing, as well as the AC in our room! The location is pretty remote so I would definitely suggest a car to visit, although it is possible by bus. Overall a great stop along our road trip!

Unique and fun! Wish we could of stayed a couple more nights. Was very accommodating and an unexpected meal from his wife was excellent!! Would definitely return. Would be great for a small group or a family with children. The water slide was fast and a great way to wake up in the morning!

After a little difficulty finding the place (our phone wasn't working well) it was great! Everyone from the owner, property manager, and caretakers were very nice and helpful and very quick to reply to any communication from us. Place was very clean, air conditioning worked great, WiFi worked great, hot tub actually got warm (if u wanted warm/hot water) and the jets worked better than anyplace else we have stayed in Costa Rica. Hot tub felt great after hours of hiking Manuel Antonio. Icing on the cake was the water slide! It was a blast!!! The family that takes care of it are wonderful people. We would definitely return if we head that way again!

We unfortunately had to wait an hour upon arrival to receive instructions as there was no one to meet us. Apparently this is a rare occurrence. We weren’t able to get instructions to use the extra onsite facilities until after dark on our arrival day. Since we had only one night stay, this was disappointing. The site itself looks fun with lots to do.

Nice break from bustling beachside towns. Heatable jacuzzi and relaxing pool with a slide and zipline for the daring. One star off for loud banging sound while trying to sleep from seeds falling onto roof (but staff is trying to remedy this) and also for the kitchen that you get if you stay in the treehouse only having a grill with a side burner, no proper stovetop. Beware, the treehouse is for couples who have no problem with intimacy, as there is no bathroom door. Amazing views of the sunset! Very dedicated staff who helped us plan various tours and boat adventures.
