Homosassa Springs home 3 kayaks, deep canal, Very Close to Springs No bridges

Stayed here the week of April 13, 2026 with my wife and two dogs. Location of the house is great. Multiple restaurants located within a 5 minutes drive, or if you want to boat to them it takes around 30 minutes. This section of the river is a manatee zone so it is idle speed only. House was stocked better than any I have ever stayed in, and we have been using VRBO for years so that is saying something. The owners left us a basket of snacks, and there was a jar of treats for the dogs. There was a coffee station set up with a Keurig, and there was syrups, coffee pods, and sweeteners provided. We had our boat with us so we made very good use of the dock that is part of the property. The dock has electricity so I was able to keep my batteries charged on the boat. Communication with the owners was great also. I can't wait to stay here again.

Very nice property in a convenient location. We enjoyed especially the screened in porch and the deck out back to sit and relax and watch the water. We took the kayaks out a few times and it was nice to have these available. The house was comfortable, AC worked well, and very well-equipped. Plenty of parking, beds were comfortable, and lots of TVs and furniture throughout the house.

The host was easy to contact and checked to see how things were going in the rental. The rental was nicely furnished. We especially liked the availability of the kayaks.

Location was perfect for myneeds. Home quality is a 10. Host was great.

Perfect for our scalloping trip. Deep canal no issues with the boat getting in and out. Owners replied super quick to any questions I had.

The house was roomy, clean, kitchen was well supplied. Several places in house to watch tv or just sit and talk. We loved the lanai porch at night. It’s a quiet place to stay, great for grown ups. We had family that lived there so they brought their boat and jet ski’s and left it parked there for us to use. So the kids had a great time on those. The house had kayaks to use which is great for tooling around the canal. Thanks for the memories.

We enjoy the peace and quiet. Host was very informative and polite. House is very spacious, neat and clean. The dock was very nice to sit on all day to relax.

Four adults looking to enjoy a wekend of relaxation and good seafood. The hosts were extremely personable and accomodating. The home was emaculate with a warm ambiance.We will definitely be back.

This place is in a great location. It’s very convenient to groceries, restaurants and Homosassa state park. The house was very spacious with multiple tv/ sitting areas and a couple eating areas. We were able to paddle to see manatees by Homosassa springs state park in almost the same time it took to drive there. Clean,nice neighborhood and. Ice amenities.

Beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. Lots of places inside the home to gather or just sit and relax Also very nice screened in porch area.

Property was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and sitting out on the screened lanai. Located close to many local restaurants.

The property was not ready and yet the host let us come and stay with no warnings of It not being, ready until the day of arrival. Dishwasher was not working, master bathroom toilet not working and leaking, Blue tape on trim still. Did not get discounted for anything. The garage was not like the pictures with lawn equipment everywhere no bar hang out area. Contacted the host about plumbing issues and nothing was done.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Jeff & Jim’s wonderful home! We honestly don’t have enough good things to say! From the cleanliness throughout, beautiful decorating, perfectly stocked kitchen, amazing dock and kayak launch area and so forth, this wonderful house just felt like a home in no time! I’d highly recommended staying here! The owners are very nice, professional and accessible should you have any questions or concerns, we’ll definitely be returning. We had an amazing stay. The property had a boat ramp, boat dock and kayaks available. We were in the water daily. The owner was also very available.

Cant ask for a better property to stay at. Owners were beyond awesome, easily reached and made sure our stay was perfect.

The house provided an excellent base for our group of 6. ( 2 adults 4 teens ages 17-19) The house was immaculately clean, spacious enough for everyone to spread out and well equipped with kayaks and a propane grill. Scallops were a bit thin this year but we were undeterred found plenty to do.

We was able to check inn a few hours early and the house was perfectly clean the family loved this house we will definitely be booking again.

This house was laid out wonderfully for a family. The property was right off of a canal so you can easily get to the river, but dont constantly have traffic coming in and out. The host left a basket of snacks for us. They even reached out about a gator they saw while we were there, warning us about in case the kids were in the canal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property and these hosts. We will absolutely be staying here again on our annual Homosassa trip. 10/10
