    Our group of 7 adults enjoyed our week's stay here in late spring! Plenty of room for all of us. Days began and ended on the upper veranda with the wonderful view of the Aegean or the night sky. Only concern: lower level rooms were a bit damp and not able to air out well due to mosquitoes and absence of screens. House is a few minute walk down a lovely path to the village main street and the beach. Enjoyed our time on Chios and used this as 'home base' for day trips north and south.

    We liked the house very much. Especially the host answered our questions very quickly and sincerely. The gifts she gave when we got home and when we left were invaluable. The location and view of the house is great. The lack of a dishwasher, the lack of shower cabins in the bathrooms and the absence of mosquito nets on the windows that I can criticize. But these are definitely not an obstacle to spend a nice holiday.

    Let me do a SWOT analysis for the best evaluation for this place. Strengths 1. An excellent host. He immediately answered all of our questions after booking. It was a nice gesture that he ordered our drinks at a restaurant on the first day we arrived. 2. The food he prepared for us at home and put in the cupboard was valuable to us. 3. The gifts he gave to each family who stayed at home while leaving made us all very happy. 4. The view and location of the house is very good. It is great that the distance of the house to the sea is 250 m. Those who wanted to reach the sea on foot. 5. The garden is wonderful. We picked oranges from the garden and made jam and ate them. 6. 5 families stayed comfortably (13 people in total) 7. It was nice to have air conditioning in the upstairs rooms. 8. There was a comfortable parking space for our cars. 9. Availability of hot water at any time. 10. Having drinkable water from the tap. 11. The price of the house is at a very economical level according to its size and facilities. Weaknesses 1. First of all, I would say that there is no dishwasher. It can take a long time to wash dishes for large families. Maybe a dishwasher can be placed on the unused balcony side. 2. It would be nice to have mosquito nets on the windows. Sometimes we could open the windows to cool off without having to run the air conditioner. 3. There may be a shower cabin in the bathrooms to prevent the water from splashing around while taking a bath. Opportunities If the above-mentioned deficiencies are fulfilled, it may be the most beautiful and comfortable house in Chios. Threats Frankly, I don't see any threat to this house and its owner.
