Beautiful Newly Remodeled Family Beach Home

Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience. My husband is having chemo at Mayo and we booked this home to stay in during his treatment. On arrival, we noticed that the home was older and the air quality was poor. We did not touch anything, left immediately, and contacted the owner from the driveway. We were not upset and hoped he would honor our circumstance. That was not what we received at all. Frankie would not even consider our request after several attempts. We contacted VRBO and they were unable to reach him but told us they would continue to try. All we want is a refund and to be treated with respect. We are very disappointed in being treated this way.

This house needs a bit of TLC. Two of the closets have no doors, the bathroom faucet needs to be replaced. The house has an apartment on its side & the owner has a permanent tenant. He should disclose that to prospective renters. The television on the living room is for decoration only, as it didn't work. The patio was full of graffiti and cigarette butts. The house is for sale. However, it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The host was pleasant but he didn't come to try to remedy the bathroom problem. He sent his tenant instead.

My friends and I stayed here for the Fourth of July weekend and it was the best time! The house is just as advertised. The host was wonderful!! Check in was easy. The location was phenomenal!! We will definitely stay here again!!

Everything was absolutely amazing

I booked this place after asking if was handicapped accessible, due to traveling with my wheelchair bound brother and sister. I was told it was. It absolutely is not! If we had not had our own portable 6ft ramp my brother never would have gotten into the house. The place is nice but not what I was lead to believe.

Nice cottage on busy road. Frankie was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Answered all our questions and helped with the small parking area. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this spot for the Florida Georgia game. Getting to and from the stadium was easy, and having the beach, restaurants and bars nearby made this a nice spot overall!

Rented to enjoy bringing in my 30th birthday, home was perfectly clean and spacious. Also very easy to find, was perfect house for a get together would deff rent again

My family planned a last minute vacation. This property was available for a very reasonable price. The location is great for getting to the beach quickly, any sort of shopping, and allowing adventures of all sorts as there are many things locally as well as within a short drive. The host was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. I would recommend this property for an enjoyable trip.

Cozy stay for all. Our dog and child loved playing outside in the enclosed backyard. We will absolutely stay again next time we visit Jacksonville 🙂 Frankie is a lovely host!

Soft bed to sleep in it was a great time and near the beach

We are very disappointed in our experience with this property. My wife and I are educators and teaching students to always be upfront, truthful and transparent. We are disappointed that a host would not be truthful about her property having a guest suite with a couple living in the unit that they are offering for a vacation stay without providing this in the property details. That is not safe or acceptable. We did not receive the code to get in until an hour after sitting at the property after several attempts days before our arrival and while sitting on the property. She finally answered and gave an excuse that it was VRBo’s fault instead of just offering an apology and make sure we could regain her trust. We go inside to find dirty laundry in washer, terrible smell, yard not mowed in the back and a guest suite occupied. We checked out and had to go find another place the host told us if we wanted a refund it was up to VRBO ( this is fake news and she refuse to make it right). She was rude, not willing to admit fault and should not be allowed to offer property for vacation until she provides real pictures, better communication, update details about the guest suite that someone lives in that is attached to the unit, and real property. Please note that the rating in the reviews of a 2/10 is the true experience you will receive if you stay here so my advice is to keep it moving as this listing is fake news.
