Home away from home with private hot tub, golf cart and more!!

This is my second stay and I hope to have many more. The house is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, with so many great amenities ( golf cart, pool table, massage chair, hot tub, and more). 5 stars is not enough it’s a 10/10! Thank you Karen and John for sharing your special home!

Great place to spend and celebrate our anniversary. This was our second stay here and it more than exceeded our expectations.

This is our 2nd stay at this wonderful property. The house is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, beds extremely comfortable, and has every amenity you can possibly think of. The hot tub, massage chair, pool table made our stay very relaxing after hiking and playing golf. The golf cart added that special touch.

This was the perfect getaway!!! the hot tub was pristine, the massage chair to die for, and the golf cart was an added perk we didn’t realize we had. The decks are so comfy and accommodating. Sky Valley is so serene. We will definitely stay here again!

Our host: John & Karen were excellent. They answered all of my questions, even going above by giving us their favorite restaurants, wineries & things to do. Responses were very timely. 5 stars for cleanliness! Finally a place that is clean to my standard, yay!The moment I turned the door knob & opened the door, I felt a relaxing sigh come upon me. There was spa music playing, an aromatherapy smell in the air and the fireplace crackling. This was an instant feeling of relaxation & at that point I knew, this was home away from home. A place I can't wait to come back to!Truly the ultimate relaxation destination! The saltwater jacuzzi, massage chair, and cocktail machine made this the perfect sanctuary after a long day of walking/hiking.You have access to the country club for added fun. There is pickle ball, tennis, golf and even croquet. John & Karen provide the access to the fun and their golf cart to get down to the country club. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

This place goes above and beyond your expectations! There is pretty much nothing they left out. The house is well stocked with so many things to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A Keurig, Nespresso, milk frother in the kitchen, and the various coffees to go in it. Sharp knives and not worn out pans to scramble eggs in. The bathrooms have been recently renovated with ample supplies. The bed we slept in was super comfy! It is everything they say, and more. You won’t be disappointed to stay here.

My second visit here. Wonderful snacks to greet me. So peaceful! Love it! I will be back yet again sometime in the future.

My wife and 18 year old son found this VRBO the best appointed rental that we’ve ever occupies. Copious attention paid to details offering something for all of us. Son enjoyed the coffee makers, pool table and WiFi. I enjoyed the massage chair, spa and good cookware. And the wife loved the TV’s, luxurious linens and golf cart for trash runs. Few places that we’ve stayed check ALL the boxes. And we’d no need to accept compromises. No half ass housekeeping, cobwebbed porches. Just clean, quiet and well priced

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The owners really thought of every little detail that made our stay one we’ll never forget!!!! The owner Karen was SO SWEET and went above and beyond for us! If I could give it 100 stars I would! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your cabin, will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

The cabin was wonderful. We made good use of the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with snacks and coffee.

The home is beautiful and has absolutely everything you might need. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and in the mornings you could hear the church bells playing. We also really enjoyed riding the golf cart, there’s a beautiful waterfall down near the golf course and we rode the cart there a couple times and we also encountered a couple deer on our rides. We ate at an Italian restaurant, Magliocca’s Ristorante, just down the road from the home and it was delicious. Ohhh….I forgot to mention the massage chair, yes we took advantage of that also!

Beautiful mountain retreat. Hot tub . Pool table. Host thought of everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. Shalet decorated for fall ! Just beautiful.

Beautiful home in a very serene setting. Great for relaxing and unwinding. Loved the welcome basket with snacks. An unexpected and pleasant surprise. Would love to return for a longer stay next time. Hot tub and massage chair were the favorites.

A beautiful home-away-from-home! Very clean! Well equipped! Had everything we needed…and more! We enjoyed the covered deck and hot tub on a rainy day! Beds were very comfortable with luxurious bedding! Big soft bath towels, make-up remover cloths, shower bombs, laundry detergent, beautiful soap and lotion pump bottles, spices, coffee pods…I could go on! We highly recommend staying at Sugarbush Shalet! You won’t be disappointed!

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough about this beautiful shalet! The ammenties are top notch! It's gorgeous and extremely comfortable! 10 out of 10! We arrived to a lovely welcome basket and we were instantly in love! The hot tub was outstanding! We will definitely be back!

Excellent house great accommodations very comfortable

Everything was as expected. The driveway is steep (as described). The golf cart was so nice to have! The only thing that made us a little nervous was the low railing upstairs for the loft. We felt as if we could fall over it very easily.

My sister, niece and I take a trip every summer and this house was perfect. We also enjoyed a day in Highlands as well. Loved the very clean and large hot tub. Well appointed kitchen for cooking 2 of our meals.Thank you for sharing.

My wife and I were beyond blown away by the entire house and the entire neighborhood! The friendliness of Mrs Karen and her husband. Immediately entering the house was calm jazz music and a beautiful electric fire place. We could not recommend this house more!!

Best lil house on VRBO!!

Beautiful decorated, clean, every amenity you need and more. The extra touches are everywhere down to the soaps, pillow sprays, sound machine, coffee assortment. The king beds are very comfortable with great linens and blankets. Outside decks and areas are so inviting with hot tub, TV's and seating for relaxing all around this home. We love having access to the golf cart too. The golf course is tops. The local area has lots to offer. We will be back in fall.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The owners have thought of everything you need to have for a perfect quiet relaxing stay. The property is as pictured with all the extras of a 5 star resort. This is one of our favorite stays and will be back in the future.

We have booked VRBO properties in multiple states and this is hands down the best hosts we have had! This beautiful decorated property has every amenity imaginable, every small appliance and kitchen item you could possibly need, and fully stocked from the bathrooms and kitchen to the outside fireplace and hot tub.

Beautiful home. Very relaxing and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The hot tub was large. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and the entire home has everything you could need. We will be booking this location again and highly recommend. It is perfect in every way.

Totally updated gorgeous cabin in an excellent location. They have thought of everything that you could possibly need. We will definitely be staying again. I don’t have enough words to say how great this cabin is!

This was our second year in a row visiting the area. Last year we stayed in Clayton atop Screamer Mountain. This year we chose to stay in Sky Valley as my husband is an avid golfer. There are SO many wonderful things about this property! Proximity to splendid golf course, absolutely adorable home and VERY well appointed. My husband wanted to buy it on the spot! Everything about this older home has been updated, leaving all the charm. Karen is clearly a decorator, as this is by far the best decor we have found in a VRBO. Super clean and all supplies / amenities in the kitchen and all rooms are top notch, By far our favorite space was the adorable deck, with the hot tub, fountain and sitting space. We spent 99% of our time on it, and it really is the total reason to rent this place! Everywhere you look there is something quaint to see, the little mushroom patch outside the back door, the area under the stairs, the massage chair!!! Use of the golf cart is a big bonus to tool around Sky Valley. The single disadvantage to this home is that it is FULLY wooded; no view and while sunlight is visible through the trees, the house remains pretty much dark all day. I might think about removing some of the trees, purely for sunlight purposes. Definitely not all, but some could go :) Despite that, the view surrounds you when you get in the car, so pick your poison. We chose the cute house :) Will definitely be back!
