Holy abbey house with garden, quiet, comfortable and welcoming. Wireless

We spent a very happy two weeks at this house. It is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particular plus points was the lovely garden with shady spots to sit under, the terrace for outside dining & secure parking for our car. Saintes is an interesting town and it's possible to take the train to other nearby places, we went to Royan & Rochefort.Annie the host was friendly & welcoming and we would certainly return.

This is a lovely holiday home with plenty of outdoor space and in a very quiet area, yet still within walking distance or a short drive into the centre of Saintes. The house was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for a 10 day stay. Annie is a really friendly and attentive host, always available if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back here!

Spacious accommodation in a quiet area with good sized garden. Especially appreciated the automatic locking gate for security and electric shutters on windows. Plenty of hot water and efficient fan in bedroom. House was well equipped. While the property is on the outskirts of Saintes it is easily walkable into city for the essential croissant and coffee daily if needed. Well located for easy and quick access to major road network. Several large supermarkets nearby. Host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful but not intrusive.

Everything as expected; and, as seen/checked online. Comfortable residence with garden. All facilities good. Very safe parking on site. Location within easy reach of supermarket and town centre.

Slightly out of town therefore very short drive to centre-no problem.Shaded garden.Car parking within the property.Very good fully equipped accommodation.

This is a very good property for a holiday with lots of space for a family of four. The property is tastefully decorated, clean and spacious with good beds, shower, washing machine, and modern fitted kitchen. The garden is large and enclosed, with high walls and an automatic gate. This makes it excellent for children to play in securely, for relaxing and eating outside. The host, Annie, is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. She was very accommodating with our 01:00am arrival due to a late ferry landing. Annie took us for a tour of the horse stud nearby. We enjoyed talking to her and learning about the locality. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the town centre, the supermarket, skate park, historical buildings, town gardens and excellent Markets and shops. We felt sad to leave Saintes and the house as we had such a wonderful stay. A bientot!
