Holiday house with private pool and fenced garden

We loved our villa! The rooms were comfortable- clean and great beds, linens. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to use. The pool was cold, but the grandkids loved it, swimming 2x/day! The location was great. We could get to other hilltop towns and Volterra was closely. Gabriele is AMAZING! She is cheerful, helpful, and replies quickly to concerns. Plus, a kitty visited us daily.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean and well stocked home with an amazing huge pool. Plenty of outdoor seating and dining options. The owners live next door and were gracious and helpful hosts. Air conditioning is in the 3 upstairs bedrooms and the main living room area downstairs. Bocce set and a grassy area to play. We even had one of their cats ‘adopt’ us during our stay which we welcomed. There are good dining options within 5-10 mins of the house and the incredible town of Volterra is about a 20 minute drive.

We spent 8 nights at this breathtaking property with our 3 kids. We absolutely loved the location, views and the surrounds. Jürgen was very welcoming and kind. A holiday to remember for sure. Thank you from 5 happy New Zealanders.

This property exceeded our expectation and was fantastic. Juergen and Gabi were the best hosts anyone could hope to have when staying abroad. Every recommendation for food, touring or wine tasting was absolutely spot on. We will be back and have already been recommending to our friends and family.

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay, beds were comfortable and everything was clean, the pool was fantastic with an amazing view. Lots of space for two couples to relax and unwind yet within an hour of all the major towns and attractions. Jurgen was responsive to our needs and even helped us with the pizza oven. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Our family had a wonderful 10 day stay in August 24. The house is lovely and well equipped. The swimming pool is magnificent size for a villa. The bedrooms were excellent and large. The communication with Gabrielle and Jurgen was fantastic and very fast. Downstairs could do with aircon, especially during a Tuscan summer!!!. We thought the whole house would have it and not just the bedrooms, especially at the price we were paying. Suggesting keeping the curtains close did not help and also meant we were missing the view. The downstairs shower needs repair and the kitchen was a bit ‘tired’ and could do with updating. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed a week at this gorgeous property.

Because of all the great reviews, we had very high expectations for this house. The house is good, has all the amenities you can think of and the contact with the owner is very good. However, what we had missed is that there is a business right next to the house, which bothered us. Doors were banging, cars were driving by and it was quite noisy outside. The house is also located in a small valley, which means that there is very little ventilation when it is hot (we were there when it was 37 degrees outside). We would also have liked to see that the garden was taken care of a little more. Many plants were withered and the couch by the pool that is in the pictures is no longer there.

Very nice house with fenced swimming pool, ideal for families with small children. Airconditioning only in the bedrooms, but this was not a problem despite a week with every day 30+ °C. The only minor point is that the second bathroom on the first floor is VERY small.

Host was outstanding in all communications and provided extra help as needed. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Property was as advertised also very clean and properly stocked with kitchen equipment etc.
