Stayed Jun 28, 2025Beautiful week in peaceful Lokve, surrounded by forests and the mountains. Needed to unwind and this was the perfect place. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Our host was wonderful and very welcoming. Five out of five for sure!!

Stayed Aug 16, 2024Lovely quiet house in the woods, just a short 10 minute walk to the reservoir where there was a nice bathing area with café and jetty which our teenage children loved. Kind hosts who were very generous with providing fruit and chocolates and drinks on arrival. Great communication with hosts and flexible check-in. Only downside was whilst the house had a lovely sloping garden and large balcony, there was no fence round the garden and a small road at the bottom which made having a dog tricky at the property and may also be difficult with small children. Just to note: the host left us 2 stars for cleanliness and we felt that we left the property tidy and as clean as we could given there were some issues with the hoover.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024We had a wonderful holiday in the rented log cabin in Lokve, Croatia! The location is fantastic - beautifully located in the forest, which makes it great for an incredibly quiet and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect starting point for our daily excursions and explorations. We were very pleased about the warm welcome from Ivana's parents. They explained everything to us in detail and were always available if we had any questions or problems. This hospitality made our stay even more pleasant. Our dog felt very comfortable on the spacious grounds, just like us. There was plenty of space for all of us (4 adults, 1 Teeny and a Labrador). The reservoir is just a 5-minute walk away and easily accessible. It is beautifully surrounded by forest and offers a wonderful setting for relaxation. It was never so busy that you couldn't find a place to stay. The log cabin itself was cozy and well equipped, which made our stay very pleasant. We can only recommend this accommodation. In Lokve there is a small shop that offers the most important things to buy and in Delnice there is a Lidl and a larger Konzum market where you can get everything. All the people we met were incredibly friendly. There is a lot to do, for example the cave in Lokve, where we had a great young guide. The Risnjak nature reserve. We went canoeing on the Kupa river...and so on

Stayed May 8, 2022Warm welcome from Ivana's parents on arrival. More welcome goodies than we have ever experienced including a range of brandys. Very generous and very much appreciated. The chalet has everything we needed and more. It was immaculately presented and very clean. Good TV, great sound system and a wood pellet burner for those cooler evenings. It is set in the woods and as such has no view, but you have peace, solitude and privacy with much bird life including woodpeckers, owls and even an eagle fly past. It was lovely dining on the large patio and listening to all the birds. The patio has a huge sunshade. There is a neighbouring property but it is well screened and was empty throughout our stay. The location is perfect for access to some great mountain hikes and easier walks. The nearby lake is beautiful and very quiet, in fact we hardly met a sole on any of our mountain hikes or lakeside/riverside walks. Ivana responded very quickly to any enquiries both before and during our stay. We had a lovely time here and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Stayed May 15, 2018This holiday home is absolutely perfect. Here you have your peace and relax. It is cheap and the landlords are very nice. There was and nothing missing. A couple of minutes drive and you are by the sea. This house is absolutely recommended. We thank for the hospitality and thank you very much. Greetings from Germany Oyten near Bremen.
