The Assenhoekje is located at the end of a dead end road and offers you a wealth of space and the necessary rest.
The cottage is in our yard and gives you a beautiful view over the meadows where the cows graze in the summer. The cottage offers space for 4 adults and 2 children and stands on a 1200 m2 lot. Children can use our trampoline & basketball pole

On the 1st floor youwill find two cozy bedrooms and a bathroom.
One bedroom has 2 single beds (box spring), a chest of drawers and a built-in cupboard. The other bedroom has 2 single beds (box spring) and a decent bunk bed. This bedroom also has a chest of drawers and a built-in cupboard.
The bathroom on this floor has a heated floor, a rain shower, toilet and a sink.

On the ground floor you will find a separate toilet, a bathroom with heated floor, rain shower and sink and the living room and kitchen. The living room and kitchen are in the same room (this has an L shape). In the living room you will find a couch, chairs, coffee tables, cupboard and TV. The dining area is near the kitchen block. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and all other kitchen supplies. Through the patio doors in the kitchen you can walk straight to your own terrace. Here is a large wooden table with 6 wicker chairs. We hope that you will spend a lot of time there so that you can relax while enjoying a drink or a homemade dinner on the BBQ that is present. Mosquito nets for windows and patio doors.

Our rental prices include beds made upon arrival, bath towels, kitchen linen and WiFi.
If you want to use our cot or high chair (free) then we would appreciate it if you indicate this extra during your booking. Our washing machine or tumble dryer can be used for a small fee.

We had a great time at the house! I can really only describe the area as tranquil - while there is a farm and you hear the occasional sound related to that, you can see for miles in every direction, enjoy beautiful sunsets, see bunnies hop through the grass and all that. The house was also very nice and tasteful, some things we thought could be improved: 1. A real double bed - it was basically two beds pushed together, which I understand is quite common around these parts, but nonetheless we would have preferred a connected bed. 2. The house could use some very basic amenities, like sugar, salt and oil, but that's no big deal to buy of course. 3. The wifi wasn't working very well, but the landlady was so nice to offer me a partial refund just because of that, and I think the problem will probably be fixed already by the time I write this. We'll happily come back!
