Holden Beach Luxury Dunes Home.....Quiet, Unobstructed ICW Views

Truly felt like a home away from home! The space was very comfortable for parents and tween kiddo. The house is very well appointed and maintained. Loved all the frogs and turtles throughout! Really well placed on the island with easily walkable semi-private beach access, which means not too crowded. Four porches means there’s always a perfect view available and each bedroom has a balcony. We enjoyed the covered spaces during a rain shower and had sunrise and sunset views every day. What a fantastic place! Would definitely come again!

This is what the name says, Luxury Dunes. Very nice place that takes care of you in luxury. The layout is great. It has a king bed (or separated into 2 twins... this versatility is great) and has a guest BR with a Queen. It even has a sleeper sofa in the LR if needed for additional guests. Each BR has its own bathroom which is a real plus. It has all the amenities you need and has out outside, downstairs shower room which is great for coming in from the sandy beach. Multiple decks are available for outside lounging. It has many windows too to give a lot of natural sunny light. Everything worked well in this nicely decorated accomodation. You can get two cars under the carport and another one on the driveway. It is close to the beach, ... one block from the access path. It is a nice family neighborhood. The owner is very responsive to any inquiries and friendly. It has a super view of the ocean from the front BR and deck. Beds were comfortable and we felt we had a week living in the lap of luxury. This was our second time staying here in 3 years.

Great place to stay with all the conveniences we needed. Bonus: with 4 balconies, we were a part of what nature gave us in the morning and evening - unobstructed ( by houses, tress, etc) views of sunrise and sunset!

Perfect vacation. House is again in great shape and well maintained. Doesn’t feel like a rental property. Feels more like staying at a friend’s house. This is our second year at this house. We will be making this the primary rental for our summer vacations. Host is very friendly and thorough. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The condo was clean, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and cookware. We cook our meals vs eating out (Love the new stove!) The gas grill worked is nice. The upstairs gets a little stuffy at times, but that is to be expected when it is 90 degrees outside! The owner checked in on us, which is a nice added touch. The walk to the beach access is fairly short.

Property owners were great to work with. The house was clean and the kitchen well furnished. Air conditioner worked great!

We had a wonderful week at the beach. We have been coming to Holden for over 20 years and it’s always fabulous. The house was cute. Could have had a few more amenities but would stay again communication with Eric was fabulous. He could not have been more helpful

Great house and location. housekeeping staff should replenish supplies like paper towels and toilet paper more completely as we nearly ran out of both but to me, that isn’t on the owner. Eric communicated well before and during the trip. This house is a bit older but has been well taken care of. Would definitely stay there again!!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival - a huge plus for my wife as she’s sensitive to odors, both uncleanliness or strong harsh cleaning agents. This property was clean and had neither. No problems with check-in or check-out. Simple cleaning requirements - unlike some VRBOs that charge an exhorbitant cleaning fee PLUS have you white glove the property. Basically it was cleaning up after ourselves = take the trash out, run the dishwasher, put everything back where it started, clean food out of fridge…the stuff your mom would expect you to do anyway :-) Comfortable beds. Nice to have on-suite bathrooms in both bedrooms. The property is fairly dated as far as appliances, bathrooms, kitchen, etc, but everything worked well. Also, as a plus, the air conditioner was able to keep up with the heat fairly well. It was still much warmer upstairs than downstairs, but it was more comfortable than many beach vacation rentals I’ve had.
