Historical stone house renovated with modern style

The house is beautiful. The location is terrific, being very close to the Cathedral. Mon was very welcoming, and Girona generally was a terrific town to spend a week. Overall the amenities suited our multi-generational group, and we had both units as a full five bedroom house.

Everything from the early messaging with the host throughout our stay was very good. The entire house was exactly as expected! I recommend it!

Communication and check in with Mon was excellent. Mon was very helpful with local knowledge of places to visit and also helped to arrange taxis for us when leaving.The accommodation was excellent and facilities provided excellent. It was ideal for our party of ten, five adults and five children. Would highly recommend this property.

The house was so clean and everything we needed was provided. There is not one negative thing I can say about this property. It was wonderful. Location was great. Host was fantastic. We had a simply perfect time. Thank you.

8 of us stayed here and rented entire unit. This place is stunning; the pictures (while beautiful) do not do this place justice. From the detailed restoration, architectural design and level of comfort, this is the finest place we have ever rented in the last 15 years. On top of all that, the location is perfect, right in the heart of the historical district. Montse was a pleasure to work with and answered all our questions. Cannot recommend this place enough!

One of the nicest houses I have ever set foot in - modern and tastefully decorated, set within the frame of this historical property. The location in the old town of Girona suited us perfectly and we received prompt and friendly help from the lovely Montse with everything from taxi bookings to restaurants and shops. We would love to come back!

We were a party of 8 cyclists visiting Girona. The Apartment ticked all the boxes for us. We rented the whole house, which provided more than enough space for all of us. We did alot of self-catering and the apartment was well equipped for all our needs. Overall the apartment design and specification is wonderful. We arrived late at 11pm and Juan had very kindly facilitated our request to have some food and drinks available for us on arrival. This was greatly appreciate. This is a great base for exploring the old town and principle sites in Girona. All in all a great house. Karl Gaffney

We rented the entire property of Alemanys 5 from Oct.16 to Oct. 23, 2015. It may have been the highlight of our two week trip. The pictures actually don't do the property justice. It is stunning -, a great mix of modern and old, and perfectly equipped with a wonderful layout. We were greeted by Montse who showed us through all the ins and outs of the house. We even met the owner, Juan, who agreed to be our chef for a day during our week. We learned to make fideua and spent a great portion of the day shopping and cooking with him. It made such a great memory. Juan supplied us with very good directions in English and in Spanish because it is a little tricky to get to. There is a very helpful elevator on the ground floor for moving in, but then the stairs are easily manageable after that. We had so much room to spread out in the property. It was really a shame to have to leave it during the day. The views are beautiful and the church bells are great background music. We loved that there was a restaurant/bar right in front of our building that provided takeaway as well as eat in food. I would highly recommend this property for families and groups such as ours (8 women of various ages on a Spanish adventure). The home is even recognized around town as a prime property. Shop owners were excited to hear we stayed in the beautiful Alemanys 5!
