Stayed May 25, 2025This property was a perfect layover on our trip. It was a neat super clean place with easy access for travel and an interesting read on the local history of the place. There was 4 single beds, 2 in each room. FYI the Ruby room was kinda bright so we relocated to the back room with less evening sun. The owners had it well stocked with things that you may need. They even had cereal and milk. I would recommend Pinhoti Pizza Company that was in walking distance with excellent food and the new location of Lickin Good Donuts is next to the roadside grill on US 278 just north of the property and they have KOLACHES!!!!!

Stayed Feb 22, 2025We stayed here while riding SXS at Indian Mtn. The beds were comfortable, tankless water heater so plenty of hot water. It’s an actual museum that appears to be open to public so the vibe is a little different your staying at a business, they have lots of snacks/food. I didn’t see any cameras but coming from shower and kitchen in my underwear with signs saying it’s monitored by camera is different. Overall nice stay worked well for us. Thank you

Stayed Jan 22, 2025Sadly, my stay here was due to a family funeral. That being said, I loved this house! My family is from here, but I still learned some things I didn't know. It really is a little museum - the displays, antique furnishings, and a the interesting info was great! Enjoyed my stay very much - a great trip down memory lane!

Stayed Jan 19, 2025As part of our Silver Comet and Chief Ladiga Rail to Trail bike ride, we stayed at the Historic Roberts Home Night in the Museum Hotel after a grueling first day of 71 miles. Unbeknownst to us when we planned this journey, we would be braving it during a polar vortex! The temperature on the day we arrived maxed out at a mere 40 degrees, and by the time we reached our lodging, it had plummeted below freezing, with sleet and snow adding to the challenge. Despite hailing from Michigan and being accustomed to winter biking, we were not prepared for the marathon of battling a relentless 20 MPH headwind with wind chills dipping into the single digits.Imagine our immense relief when we swung open the door to be greeted by a comforting wave of warm air. The cherry on top was discovering an array of snacks, meticulously stocked for our enjoyment. This thoughtful provision elevated our spirits even further. Without a doubt, our entire group unanimously agreed that this stay was the best of our adventure.
