Cozy, clean, quiet & peaceful. Whether you choose to sit on the patio next to the fire and stare at the beautiful view, or cross the street and hop on the Chief Ladiga bike trail, you won’t be disappointed. This has become our FAVORITE in-state getaway.

Ida and Pat are some of the nicest hosts we've ever met, and the views from the Ruby Roost are even better than the pictures. There are nice outdoor activities within minutes of the property and epic outdoor adventures less than an hour away, we highly recommend this place and hope to return one day!

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at this fantastic location. Although there are many other local choices, we continue to return because of the cleanliness, comfort, and coziness this place provides.

We traveled to Alabama to visit Indian Mountain ATV Park. Upon arrival, while pulling our trailer with our SXS, the truck wouldn’t go into 4WD, and we were struggling to get the trailer up the gravel driveway in the dark. At 10pm, the host came out (in his pajamas) to help guide and direct us to get onto the property. He made sure we were safe and settled. The house was so nice, clean, and stocked. We had a welcome basket full of snacks and waters, a basket with coffees, teas, and all the condiments we needed, as well as a bottle of local wine waiting for us. The views from the deck were gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things about these hosts and our stay on the property. Thank you!!

The house was cozy, clean, well-supplied, and perfect for our group. Once you make it up the hill, you are rewarded with an incredible view from the top. We watched the sunset and saw stars on a clear night. It's very close to the Chief Ladiga Trail and made for a great stopover during our bike ride.

If you love cleanliness, solitude, and beautiful views, don't miss this place. A little off the beaten path, it's a lovely place to spend some time away from the daily grind of wherever you come from. The rental has everything you need to help you unwind and relax. The hosts were very communicative and friendly, even having a welcome basket upon our arrival. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely getaway and plan to book many more days there in the future. Do yourself a favor—just the sunset alone is worth the stay.
