Historic Oxford Waterfront Estate

The Bonfield Manor was am excellent place to stay for my family as we gathered in Oxford for our son's wedding . So glad we found this property. We are even thinking about a family reunion in the future.

House and its setting could not be more perfect. Everything you could imagine wanting was there and well maintained. Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful home along with a 5 star atmosphere (waterfront, pool, gorgeous landscaping, air conditioned sunroom allowing for continued awe of water etc., even when humid weather lingers outside, Plus, crabbing was fun for the whole family - great dinners!!!! Privacy, away from the crowds but not far from shopping centers, restaurants, food markets etc,Perfect 10

Bonfield Manor is a hidden treasure on Maryland’s eastern shore. We can honestly say that the owner has thought of just about everything that family vacationers might need. The kitchen is fully equipped for the size of the group which is rarely the case. The library is amazing!! The owner lists activities available locally such as boat charters. Our favorite thing to do is crabbing off the pier but this year we decided to try out the kayaks off the pier step down which worked out well. Biking into town for lunch or ice cream is also a favorite. You really will love it.

The house was spotless and filled with everything you can think of and then more. Extra towels, linens anything else needed. The grounds are well kept. Every morning someone could be seen cleaning any leaves from the pool. The house is filled with games and all different sizes of bicycles. All on acres of private property adjacent to a conservatory park.

This property is very near to the entrance to the precoius town of Oxford on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We were blown away by the view when we entered Bonfield Manor. The view onto Boone Creek is beautiful, as are the grounds, outbuildings, hardscape and the pool! The house is full of architectural beauty and charm with modern renovations of the bathrooms and kitchen and a broad porch across the whole back of the house looking out over the lawn to the water. The layout was perfect for our family. Marianne was very responsive when we had a few questions. I'd highly recommend this property and hope to return some day.

House and pool, grounds, and dock on river were terrific. Availability of canoes, kayaks, paddle boards was great. Pool was large and well maintained. Grounds in back facing the river were large, open , accessible for throwing a ball for a catch and playing croquet. Outdoor chairs were well positioned for sunning or sitting in the shade of one of the large trees to read. Outdoor gas grill by the pool next to 2 tables for dining was great for burgers and hot dogs night.The view from the porch looking out to the river was beautiful.
