Historic Jefferson Farmhouse - Hike, Bike & Raft!

The place was nicely furnished with tasteful holiday decorations it was out in the country so no shops close by but not that far to Frederick.The surrounding fields reminded us of an Andrew Wyeth painting.With the pantry & kitchen we were easily able to make a big Christmas dinner

The house was exceptionally clean, lovely and family friendly. It easily accommodated our large group of 9 adults and 1 child. We stayed while attending my daughter's wedding at a nearby apple cider distillery. Everything was as described, including amenities. Nearby Frederick is a cute town for shopping and Frederick Social is a great gastropub to visit. For those checking in, the keyed lock is on the side door, not the front. I put big bows on the pole to the driveway, to help locate the inn especially at night. The hosts were easy to reach and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend this for your next stay in the area. We were looking for the perfect place to host my sister’s bachelorette and she loves Harpers Ferry. We were minutes from downtown, the national park, great restaurants…you name it. The listing was as described and more. It was like staying in the cutest inn and was so easy to get to and from all of the fun activities in the area. It was beautiful, safe, and private. Our host was very communicative and kind. They even have a binder in the house with details about the property and recommendations for outings nearby. We will be keeping this listing in mind for future stays.

The property was in immaculate condition, and everything was nice and neatly presented to make us feel welcome. Access to yard games were a plus, and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Well situated near Frederick and parks gave us options for indoor and outdoor activities. We would stay here again!

This was a beautiful property right near Antietam, Boonsboro, and Harpers Ferry. It’s also within 45 minutes of the Metro into DC! We had a party of 8 staying, with plenty of room for all of us.

Beautiful, restored historic home with modern amenities. Well maintained and very clean. Host is extremely responsive. Would definitely rebook if traveling in this area!

A beautiful home to reconnect with family.

We came from Upstate New York to enjoy a Christmas gathering with local family and friends. Our overnight group totaled five and we hosted a game night that totaled fourteen. Ample room for festivities with all of the amenities that we needed. The house waslovely, clean, and exceeded our expectations. The property owner was attentive prior to the trip and friendly to work with. We will stay again when our travel brings us to back to the Middletown/Frederick, MD, area - soon! Thank you!

The farmhouse was the cleanest property I've ever stayed in. It was bright and cheery. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and gorgeous. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out, and plenty of space for us to gather for family meals. It was perfect!

The house had it all and then some. Traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids to the Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm, this house was perfect to come home to at the end of the day. The kitchen had everything you needed, the beds were so comfortable and the view was breath taking. I would highly recommend this home to everyone.

My family stayed in this cute farmhouse for my daughter’s wedding in the area. It suited our needs perfectly. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. We also appreciated the nice extras like snacks and coffee provided.
