Firefly Hill - Renovated farmhouse with large backyard - sleeps 8

This is a quaint 100 year old farmhouse. Very cozy with lots of room. It has good appliances and worked well for making family meals. The bedroom downstairs has an amazing library of eclectic books. So many interesting topics. Beautiful grounds close to Frederick for shopping and supplies. Our family enjoyed it.

Beautiful farmhouse less than 20 minutes from Frederick. All of the charm you would expect with updates like new windows, doors and appliances. Very comfortable and exactly what we need. We couldn't be happier with our stay!

The house was perfect for our holiday reunion!

This house was so charming! We enjoyed gathering at the kitchen table for coffee by the gas fireplace. There was plenty of room for our family of seven and our dog. The kids played ball with our dog in the large backyard. They also played some of the board games and read books available at the house. We would have enjoyed the outdoor fire pit if we had more time. Check in and was very easy and the owner responsive and helpful with questions. We were in the area for a wedding in Leesburg, VA. Would love to visit again someday!

We loved the history of the house and the privacy of the yard. The house has been updated in keeping with the history of it which was nice. There was plenty of space for our whole family and lots of bathrooms. It is out of the way in a rural, small town, but still easily accessible to Harper's Ferry, Frederick, Baltimore, and D.C. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay there. The beds were very comfortable and the house is clean and well-kept. I have two suggestions for making it even better. A porch swing on the front porch facing the beautiful view would be lovely and the bathrooms need to have some kind of hooks or over the door hangers for wet towels. We would love to stay there again sometime.

The house was perfect for our family reunion! It had everything we needed and then some, lots of character, very comfortable beds, and was big enough to have more family join us for dinner — just the perfect spot for us to gather from as far away as Alaska and Tampa. We will stay there again for similar reunions in the future.

Lovely property and a great stay except for the weather. Called the owner about getting some firewood for the pit in the yard and he got it to us the next am. Definitely well worth the price paid

I rented this wonderful place for my extended family so that we could all stay in the same place for Christmas. We had 8 adults and a couple big dogs, and it could not have been better!! Not only is the place beautiful, comfortable, clean, and cozy, but it also had everything we needed to make a big Christmas meal (and many in between!). The dogs LOVED the huge, fenced-in yards, and my family had plenty of room to spread out. Its location is ideal: It’s only an hour from my home in Northern Virginia, and we enjoyed a day trip to Harper’s Ferry, which is only 15 minutes away. Dianisha was a helpful and responsive host! Instructions were very clear, simple, and easy to follow. We loved our stay, and we hope we can come back one day!

Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and bedding, lots of space. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Farm House and the location was perfect for our visit.

We enjoyed the cozy farm house and amenities. This home offered us close proximity for an event in Frederick. There was ample space to spread out and the games and swing was a bonus for children. We love the front porch and kitchen. We recommend a stay at this farm house.

Had a great girls weekend! Everything was very clean and updated. Lots of space and beds! Was overall very nice property and although it rained most of our stay the backyard was lovely and very well kept! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Perfect setting for a ladies weekend. We all absolutely loved this comfortable, spacious and charming farmhouse! The property is Very well maintained with thoughtful details. We spent our evenings outside sitting around our small fire and enjoying the private, fenced yard. Beautiful place-would definitely recommend!
