You'll feel right at home the moment you arrive at the ‘Hudson House.'

Built in 1928 by our great-grandparents, Hudson House isone of the original Adirondack tourist homes and pairs modern day comforts with age-old charm to create a getaway that is as delightful as it is convenient.

This gracious home has 4,100 square feet of living space that maintains its historic charm while incorporating modern updates and brand new furnishings.

Open the door to find a beautiful main floor with a gourmet kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and multiple conversation areas. Refuel the crew with a home-cooked feast. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and ample space to assist with any dish. Set out appetizers on the large island before the main course is served in the dining room. Relax after dinner in the gathering room - where comfortable couches surround the locally mined Garnet rock gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. Or, retreat out front to the expansive porch to put your feet up with a glass of wine or cup of coffee and watch the river.

Our younger (or young at heart) guests can also move the fun downstairs to the fully furnished basement to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV or engage in a friendly game of ping pong in the adjacent room.

The basement also contains one very special renovation done with skiers, hikers, rafters and adventurers in mind. The “Rack Room” is a large, climate controlled, area with ski/snowboard racks, clothes drying racks, cubbies, hooks for camping gear, washer/dryer and ample seating for gearing up. Accessible directly from the back porch, guests can store all of their gear downstairs without cluttering up bedrooms or bathrooms on the main levels.

When your day in the mountains is complete, go up the original staircase to our 5 second floor bedrooms. Each bedroom is as unique as the ski runs they are named after with 3 Queen beds, 1 King bed, and a white birch bunk bed. Two more bathrooms provide guests with a luxurious choice between the “Moose” walk-in shower or a relaxing soak in the antique tub. Finally, the third-floor attic loft has two twin beds (with space for an additional 2 twin air mattresses). Add window seats and a sitting area with a TV and you have the perfect space for our younger guests to claim as “their own clubhouse.”

The appeal of the ‘Hudson House’ does not end indoors. Each season brings its own unique beauty to the ‘Hudson House” property. Be sure to explore our 2 acres of backyard woods where the only sounds are the trickling creeks and crunching leaves. Nice day outside Change up your usual routine with a picnic in the Adirondack Summer House, a walk on our trail or just sit on a rock overlooking Raymond Brook with a camera in hand. The property also extends across the street to the Hudson River. Our private riverbank access has gorgeous views of the water and lots of places to dip in your toes.

We had group of 16 people on the New Year and the house was more than enough for us. Very clean and well soundproofed (my hub was snoring). Close to Gore MT which was very helpfull. Thank you Nancy for hosting

Hudson House had everything we needed. So roomy that the 17 of us were able to enjoy different parts of the house. The teens played ping pong, the adult males watched movies, the adult women played cards on the enclosed front porch and the three little girls played with their toys where ever they wanted to because they was enough room for everyone. So many activities to do.

EXCELLENT! The property was as advertised and immaculate with a full stocked modern kitchen. Bedrooms were just perfect for the whole group. Plenty of activities for all type family members within 30-45 minutes driving time and views of the Hudson River which really added scenic charm.

Everything about this house was thoughtfully chosen and designed: the coffee bar, laundry room and gear room. The house is bigger than the pictures. The house was immaculate and the gear room was easy to use. My adult kids had a great time playing ping pong downstairs. We traveled to the Hudson House for a family wedding. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning.

What a gem of a vacation home for large groups. Its was a ski vacation for 4 families. Gore mountain is minutes away. The town of North Creek is even closer with some nice restaurants and shops and a grocery store. The house has great views of the upper hudson river across the street. The home has historic charm with modern amenities. Great kitchen and dining area. Tons of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably fit many people. A clean and warm basement entertainment area with a oing pong room. One of the best features was a room in the basement for all your ski equipment to dry with a separate door from the back porch. This nade it easy to manage all the snow equipment. The back yard was a great olace for the kids to okay in the snow and hike in the woods. The owner Nancy was very collaborative which made the experience even better. We walked in to a welcome sign for our family. Its was very clean and had excellent instructions on the house and the surrounding area. Cant say enough about how great this home was. It made for lasting memories for our children and adukts.

We absolutely loved staying at your beautiful home. We made lots of amazing memories with the tubing down the river , going to the top of Gore mountain , and relaxing by the fire at night sharing everyone’s high/low of the day !! It suited our large family perfectly and was very clean and a well stocked kitchen was great to have !! Thank you also for always getting back to me with any questions that we had … the only thing that was a little scary was the road and how fast people go but there were lots of breaks in between the cars so we could cross ….thanx again !
