Stayed Jun 8, 2026This was the only house in Hardy that would accommodate our family of 8. It was comfortable, with beautiful outdoor spaces. We all enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Oct 15, 2025Myself and 6 of my gal pals stayed at the Hardy House to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our host Gwen was wonderful, checking on us before arrival and again when a storm was rolling in. Fresh muffins were waiting for us in the kitchen as well. The house is just a 1/2 block easy walk from all the shopping Hardy has to offer as well as several restaurants. The front porch is the best spot in the house for cocktails & chatter. The outdoor patio areas are filled with flowering plants & cute decor with amble seating. There was enough firewood available to last us a month of evenings around the Firepit. And of course she had the area stocked with fire starters, lighter fluid, etc. Having stayed at quite a few rental properties in different states, we were impressed with the well-stocked kitchen, as there is everything you could ever need. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the beds/linens/pillows were all great quality & comfy. My sister & her adult daughter stayed in the studio next to the main house & they absolutely loved it. It is freakin adorable as well. We arrived in 4 vehicles & there is amble parking spaces. I would absolutely stay here again & recommend it to anyone with a larger group. The surrounding areas of Cherokee Village, Mammoth Springs & Mountain Home are fun day excursions with plenty to see & do. We hit most of the antique shops and every brewery & winery we could fit in to our long weekend. Try the Corner Booth in Hardy for cheap food & quick service!

Stayed Aug 15, 2024Nice place close enough to walk around Hardy Historic District. We visited Grand Gorge SP in Missouri and Mamoth Springs SP in AR. We floated in 6 man rafts from Dam #3 to Many Islands Canoe Rental. We ate at Meacham's in Ash Flat, Spring River Draft and Grill in Hardy, and Carol's Lakeview Restaurant in Cherokee Village. All had great service and food at good prices. We were a big group and half of us stayed in this house and half in another house. We had breakfast the 1st morning at the other house and the 2nd morning at the Historic Hardy House and had everything we needed to cook with. Loved all the outdoor seating areas and flowers. The little guest house was so cute. Enjoyed staying at the Historic Hardy House and would stay there again if in the neighborhood.
