Historic German Village Charmer with Speakeasy and Arcade Machine!

The property is absolutely lovely and well maintained. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early due to my daughter in law's work schedule, but we had a wonderful stay.

Anyone traveling to Columbus and wants a different experience than the run of the mill hotel room should consider this home. Please do not let the lack of reviews on VRBO deter you from this house. I am extremely cautious but decided to take a chance with this home. So glad I did. From the moment we walked in the house our jaws dropped with all the little touches and unique thoughtfulness the owners have put into this home. Anyone can put out a basket of water and chocolates, but they added a flower to the basket. Loved the fact that there are a couple of large paintings with a plate telling the story of the painting. The eucalyptus hanging in the bathroom shower was a nice touch. These are just a couple of the things the owners did to make our visit feel so special. I could go on and on but I am limited to the number of characters I can use. The house was absolutely one of the cleanest homes I have ever been in. Even the top of the cupboards, which can be seen from the second story walkway were spotless. The master bathroom was a dream. It had two shower heads and a built in bench. Another thoughtful touch was the mirror in the shower with a holder for razors. The bathroom contains a huge soaking tub and two sinks. The master bedroom was large and the beds were very comfortable. Although we did not use the kitchen it had every convince anyone could possibly use. The speakeasy in the basement is such a fun place to hang out. The owners response is amazing.

We enjoyed the property very much. Great location to attend the golf tourney and see some of the history of Columbus Ohio. Very save and easy to get to. Loved the speak easy in the basement. Thanks so much to the host for making the stay memorable.

Everything that was quoted in listing was exactly what we received! It was a beautifully decorated remodeled home with luxury amenities! Huge and beautiful master bath! Kitchen well equipped with anything needed! We didn’t get to take advantage of it, but the basement had an amazing bar and mini fridge that was equipped with any bar-type utensils and glassware you would need! The arcade table was a nice plus for our 5 year old and my husband (whom is a 5-year-old at heart!). GREAT COMMUNICATION! Allotted parking was also a plus as street parking can be hit or miss there! Thanks so much for an outstanding stay! We will definitely consider this place again for a future stay in Columbus!
