This coastal Eastham home is full of history as it was originally an oyster processing plant through the 1930s and afterward, a year-round residence for a well-known Eastham native. Those who are sentimental and love the outdoors will thrive at this charming retreat. Right outside the home, a mooring is available forboat parking, and the fishing, crabbing, and clamming opportunities are stellar. The simplicity and quiet beauty of Orleans Cove can be enjoyed from the outdoor swing, on the Adirondack chairs - gathered around the firepit, or while gliding across the water in the kayak.

Nearby, explore Nauset Beach, Cape Cod National Seashore Salt Pond Visitor Center, Nauset Lighthouse, Jonathan Young Windmill Park, and Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

Inside, nautical charm, warm wood finishes, and old-school touches make this home what it truly is. The sunny living room is adorned with ample, soft seating, a large TV, and a wood stove. The well-equipped kitchen provides a pleasant space to cook amongst the updated appliances. From here, effortlessly walk into the sunroom where the water views are dazzling, a wine fridge keeps your beverages cool, and late-night chats are inevitable.

The bedrooms are bright, airy, and spacious. Rest assured that no matter the temperature outside, you will be kept cool inside with the home's central air-conditioning. A private washer/dryer rounds out the home's interior perks.

Head back outside as evening nears and fire up the gas grill. Take one last bike ride around the neighborhood before gathering on the deck for stunning sunset views. A private outdoor shower is also available for your use.

A+ property! Charming—super tidy and well appointed while still retaining its historic character—it was very welcoming and relaxing. The rooms were all comfortable, and the cove breeze flowed through the house when opened up. We walked up to the windmill, checked out the bird shop, grabbed essentials across the street (S&S, TJ Maxx, Starbucks)—played mini-golf, Uno—good clean fun as they say!

We had a wonderful stay with our family! The home is in a very central Cape Cod location making it easy for us to have maximized our vacation to see and enjoy everything from the lower to the upper cape and Martha’s Vineyard. We highly recommend a trip to Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard and Chatham. Eat at Caroline's nearby and hit as many ice cream places as time permits, esp if you’re from California like we are, as nothing beats the local fresh dairy creme out there! The beaches nearby are incredible, especially at low tide..we were out seemed like a mile into the ocean walking around which was so unique and fun! The sunsets were amazing..at the beaches and right from the awesome backyard deck of this cool property. Beds were comfy, everything was thoughtfully stocked and having the grocery store and the yummy burger and shakes place literally within steps is a huge plus for family vacations. Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed this house and location. It’s quiet and off the beaten path, but so close to all the best the Cape has to offer (ocean-side and bay-side beaches, bicycle rail trail, ice-cream, kayaking, restaurants). Being right on the water was such a treat. The house is beautifully decorated including handmade pottery plates and mugs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing find on the shores of Cape Cod. The home was perfectly set up with beachy yet comfortable decor. Kitchen had cast iron pots and air fryer that made cooking easy for the kids. Outdoor weber grill with stunning deck made us not want to leave for dinner. Walking distance to The Knack. Kids played on the front very spacious lawn whilst we had cocktails for sunset. Beds had fresh crisp linen and mattress was comfortable comes with towels but I recommend bringing own beach ones. Washer dryer a great addition with kids. We will be back for sure. Looking at a long weekend in the fall in this little piece of paradise!

Town Cove Oyster House was an ideal location for our extended weekend. Our group of two couples enjoyed morning views with coffee from the back deck. Note the Nespresso machine is the Vertuo model. The coffee mugs are hand thown and lovely to use. We all slept fairly well on the beds which were on the softer side but had crisp, clean sheets. The bedrooms are upstairs and are tastefully decorated, though there is a slight musty smell in the largest bedroom. The house's two bathrooms are on the first floor - one is near the garage and there are 2 extra steps to get to it. There are several transistions between rooms where you need to either step up or down and all the staircases are steep. The bikes were a nice addition - we used the rail trail several times and biked for coffee and pastries at Sparrow. We didn't kayak because it looked too difficult to launch the kayaks. The kitchen is small but servicable. The refrigerator is huge and the freezer makes round ice cubes! Overall, we loved our stay!

We had a wonderful week in this absolutely beautiful property with the most gorgeous views. It was such a delight being on the water. We were truly able to unwind. Every morning we enjoyed our coffee on the deck watching the boats pass by, it was just amazing. We really appreciated the owner allowing the use of the kayaks, we had such a good time taking our kids out on the water. We spent our evenings relaxing around the solo stove campfire by the water, or sitting on the comfortable chairs on the gorgeous deck. We cooked dinner a few times, used the BBQ and the kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. Very convenient location, really close to everything you could need. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Short drive to nearby beaches. The property was so clean, and extremely well maintained. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much for everything.

Eastham/Orleans border. The knack around the corner has the best fried onion rings and fish. The lobster rolls were awesome. Ice cream sandwiches too. Super close to everything you could need. Teens walked to bakery and Papa Gino's. House was lovely. Although the mattresses could have been more comfortable the kayaking and daily swims made up for it. Skaket Beach is 7 min away and Nauset Beach is 12 min. Both were awesome and swimmable even in late May! Deck and view were divine. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea kettle and loads of pots and pans. I cooked several times and we grilled twice. Excellent overall experience. Family of 5 stayed. If you have any mobility issues please note bathrooms are on 1st floor. Also kayak has to be carried down precarious steps to go in water.

The house was quaint and clean. The tv didn’t have a lot of channels to watch. The three bedrooms are upstairs were cute but no bath room available. You have to go downstairs to go. In the middle of the night we found that hard. Overall it was a nice place.

A truly beautiful and one of a kind spot on the cape. A nature lover’s paradise. The rental agency and owners were extremely kind and attentive. When we arrived there was a thoughtful note and bottle of wine from the owners. The location and views are priceless. Even on a rainy day you can sit outside on the deck and watch the seals swim by and all the beautiful shore birds. The house is in walking distance to restaurants, shops and all conveniences. There are many added bonuses that set this rental apart from the rest which include kayaks and being dog friendly. We had such a wonderful vacation and cannot wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your special place with us.
