Stayed Jun 7, 2026The Little Cottage is our favorite place to stay on Lake Michigan. It’s cozy, comfortable, plenty of space for our 4 kids (3 teenagers!) and such a great location for walking downtown and to the beach. Chris and Dave are wonderful hosts and couldn’t be any kinder or more responsive. Thank you for another lovely stay in St Joe!

Stayed Aug 17, 2025This is the third time we have stayed at this property and we are always pleased. There is plenty of room with the upstairs apartment. It is a 100 y/o home though so electrical outlets are in short supply. We brought a couple of power strips to help as my daughter and her partner had to work remotely. The lightbulbs in the LR lamps are pretty dim - next year I'll bring mine to switch out while we are there. I need a lot of light to read at night as we did not even turn on the TV. There was one minor issue after the rainstorm and the owners responded almost immediately and it was resolved within a few hours. Everything was great and we hope to book again for next year. We can walk everywhere and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

Stayed Jul 27, 2025We have stayed in this cottage each summer for many years. Location is ideal for walking distance to downtown and other things. Family suggests a few updates at the cottage. Such as newer sofas , electrical outlets a few need repaired. We would highly recommend this cottage.
