Fall Fun- bonfires, star gazing, & gameroom!

We enjoyed our stay at The Dorothy very much. It was like being home away from home. The host was easily available to help with any questions. It was clean, well supplied with everything we might need and then some. Everything we wanted to do was within 5 to 10 miles away. It was a quiet neighborhood, well maintained, and very comfortable. Lots of games and things to do in the basement and TVs in the bedrooms and living room. All in all, it was perfect.

Awesome house for our quick trip back to St. Joe. Super clean, super convenient. My kids loved the basement with the pool table, ping pong, darts, fooseball, putting green and more games we could count !! Fully loaded kitchen with everything we needed and more.

It was a great stay. Highly recommend! Shelly is a great host and she was very responsive.

By far our favorite place we have ever stayed. Impressive, something for everyone. No need to have something else nearby to do, just go enjoy this property. The home and property make you relax wether you like it or not. Immaculately maintained. You can see and feel the love that has been put into it everywhere you look. Stop browsing and book yourself a trip.

Great stay, clean house, clean property. Had everything provided for us that we could have neeeded.

We were visiting family in the area and the teens and adults both enjoyed the game room area and numerous things to do. We found the home to be very comfortable, decorated tastefully and all amenities were provided. The yard and outside area is beautiful. There is plenty of privacy. The home is close to shopping, restaurants and recreation. Property access was easy and the owners were very communication and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our five days at this property.

Everything & more you could ever need for a quiet retreat!

Beautiful, well kept home on a wooded lot. You can tell the owners really care about their property from the little details that they put into their home. The amenities are fabulous from the game room in the basement to the patio & grill area, no detail was overlooked and we wanted for nothing. When we plan our next trip to the area, we’ll definitely check to see if The Dorothy is available.

We had a wonderful time at The Dorothy! It was so nice getting to sit outside by the fire pit after a long day at the beach. My son was also in love with all the activities and games to play in the basement. We would absolutely stay there again and again.

This place is beautiful inside and out. We loved Dorothy and felt right at home. Everything about her was just as described and we couldn’t have been more pleased.

Centrally located in St. Joseph area it is the perfect location to see the area sites. The property inside and out is well manicured and clean.The neighborhood is quiet and friendly as well.The hosts provide everything needed for a comfortable stay and so helpful if you have an inquiry.Highly recommend this place for your visit

This was an adorably renovated home to stay in for our quick and impromptu visit to Michigan, with some of the nostalgic touches of the home left intact, which I loved because it brought me back to the days growing up visiting at my Memaws! I only wish that I could have stayed longer and hopefully next time when the weather is better...that being said, this is the perfect vacay home full of entertainment for bad weather days- the basement game room was great, a favorite by the whole family! This house had everything stocked that we could have needed, nice coffee/tea station provided, and quick response time from the owner. It is in a cute little quiet neighborhood, and close to several sites and cute beaches. Five stars in my opinion, and we will be back to stay for longer! Thanks guys!

We stay here to visit our son and daughter-in-law.It is a wonderful home and a GREAT location.The host was awesome. We will stay there again.

The house was in a nice neighborhood and close to so many things including Lake Michigan. Property was very well kept and VERY clean. Game Basement was nice since it was a little snowy. Loved the character of the house. Owners responded quickly. We had a very comfortable stay.

Very clean and quiet area. Game room was amazing we had a great time playing pool, foose ball, and ping pong, Recommend staying here!

Loved everything about our stay. Had family over with a camp fire every night. Hoping to stay here next year for our granddaughter's graduation.
