This was a great property. Clean, orderly, and BEAUTIFUL!!

Delightfully quiet and remote, with wonderful views of the valley and mountains beyond. Enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, and relaxing and reading in the living room. It was helpful to have an outdoor dog space accessible from the dining area.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The views from the living room, kitchen and patio were awesome. Easy trip to Mesa Verde and other historical sites. Overall a great stay!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Everything is very visitor friendly. No one could ask for more. Thank you so much for wonderful experience.

What a beautiful, secluded property with lots to explore! We had a wonderful stay and loved the proximity to Mesa Verde National Park but the privacy the house provided. We hope to return!

Outstanding. Better than described

This was the most peaceful place we have ever stayed on vacation. It was exceptionally quiet and felt remote even though it was only a short trip to nearby Mancos. For me, the best part of the stay was sitting on the porch at night. (Of course we took in 2 wonderful tours at Mesa Verde.) However, the evening air was so gentle and cool and the chirping of crickets was the only sound.

Perfect spot for a family getaway. Dan's house is a great location, especially if you are looking to spend time at Mess Verde National Park. It was comfortable and stocked with most of whatever you might need. Our favorites spots were the fontporch watching the humming birds and the back patio area just enjoying the amazing view and peaceful quiet. We will be back!

Very nice property just as advertised. Close to everything we wanted to see yet far enough off the beaten path to provide solitude. Highly recommend!

Perfect cottage and amenities near the park and trails.

This was a quiet, peaceful stay for us. The views were absolutely amazing and the property was clean. If there was one thing missing, it would just be the lack of air conditioning in June. Other than that, this property provided a perfect getaway.

This cabin is the perfect setting to reconnect to each other and nature. The setting is quiet. The home is filled with books and games, we loved reading, talking and playing. Something that our daily life does not always allow. The views out the window of the mountains provided beauty of Colorado, we enjoyed watching the alpine glow each evening. Close to Mesa Verde Park and not far from Durango or Cortez. We would definitely come back to stay.

The cabin was perfect for our little family getaway! It had breathtaking views of the mountains and the cabin itself had everything we needed and then some! It was so clean and very cozy. The beds were very comfortable which is on the top of my husband’s list (& he has trouble sleeping and said he slept great!) Dan the owner was so nice and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We’ve had some good VRBO and some not-so-good. This was the best visit so far and I can’t imagine a better property or host. Dan was very proactive in communicating with us. The cabin is beautiful, well appointed and cared for. The views are drop-dead amazing. The windows looked on snow-laden mountains. Our only regret? Not booking an additional two days.

My wife and i spent 4 nights at Dan's cabin on our way from MN to AZ, and it was perfect! The house is gorgeous, and has everything you could need for relaxation and comfort. We spent one day exploring Mesa Verde natl park, and the rest enjoying the house and property. We would LOVE to make it back in the future!

Second time staying here, and we always have a great time. Quick drive to the Mesa Verde National Park entrance. Place is always clean, quiet, and cozy with incredible night sky views. Will be back!

We love this cabin. It was perfectly located just outside of the National Park. It was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. (High on my priority list.) The night sky was spectacular. We definitely recommend staying here.

Pictures don’t do the view from the deck or patio justice. I found myself looking out over and over. The wildlife was beautiful. We got buzzed by a flock of hummingbirds. A mink scampered across the patio wall. Every sunrise and sunset was enchanting. The stargazing was very impressive. The furniture and appliances were top notch. The wifi was fast and reliable. I will always seek this property when visiting the area. And it is minutes from the Meas Verde national park.

This was by far the best place we stayed all week on our road trip. It was so comfortable, and we did not want to leave! Very clean, and we had everything we needed. The view when we woke up was incredible!

Cabin was perfect for our family of four and dog. We enjoyed exploring the property and the disc golf! Played board games on the patio in the evening and watched the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. Only a few minutes from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. Loved that there was a washer and dryer too!
