The amenities, space, and location are outstanding, and the host is fantastic. The property works exceptionally well for hosting our disabled veteran events. There is plenty of room to gather, accessible layout, and a welcoming environment that truly supports our mission. We’re grateful for such a well-suited space and look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside Lodge and could not have asked for a better experience. This is our third stay, and it never disappoints. Location is on a quiet street nestled away from downtown North Conway, but it is a convenient and short trip to downtown, Mt. Cranmore, and more. The hosts, Bobby and Lisa were incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish, which made everything seamless and stress-free. The home was spotless, and clearly well cared for. The accommodations were excellent, comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel right at home for our group of injured veterans.We plan to absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-hosted place to stay.

So much room!! Exactly what was needed for our annual golf weekend… plenty of beds, space to get away if you need some quiet time! AC throughout the house, kept the place cool after our days of golf… a couple mins from town, easy to get around all of North Conway… wonderful fire pit and chairs for an evening fire and relaxing outside! Will definitely stay again! A *Only thing we would have wanted was TVs in some of the bedrooms as some people need to fall asleep w/ a TV on… but that’s it!

We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our stay very much. The children loved the koi pond and catching frogs. The location was great as it was close to town and to Echo Lake. We definitely recommend Hillside Lodge to families with children!

I stayed here with about 20 of my friends and went tubing down the saco river. Ideal house for hosting a large group. The hosts are responsive and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Had great space for our family

We had a great time here - we had 5 couples and all had small children with us, so we really appreciated all the extra kids toys, high chairs, pack and plays, etc there were here. Also so close to Cranmore. We would stay here again!

place was perfect to host a large group. beds were comfy. large areas allowed everyone to hang in a large group. The hosts were very communicative and available. the location is great - close to downtown and cranmore. would definitely recommend this place to others.

I cannot say how pleased I was with Hillside Lodge. Each year my Christmas present to my adult children is to go up north so they can ski. This year I chose Hillside Lodge and it goes beyond expectation of how great the location was, how clean it was, the beds were very comfortable, and the bed rooms were superb and Kitchen well equipped!The check-in process was excellent, Communication with the owners was excellent. The driveway was even plowed earlier this morning with the snow that North Conway had received. I plan on staying here again.

This is our second stay at this lovely home for Azimuth Check Foundation injured veterans annual learn to cross-country ski retreat.

Big House, full of amenities. Great for families with kids and older adults too. The large kitchen was very useful for making meals for our extended family. The kids loved spending time in the play room and sitting around the firepit at night. Another added plus was that the house is very close to town so it was quite easy to visit the local shops and activities.

While the overall house size worked well for our group, the house is in disrepair and is not being maintained. Our reservation went fine and the renters were helpful with questions. It was when we arrived at the property that things went south. Our first impression from the outside was a run down house. It needs repairs and painting, the yard is uneven, overgrown, and the back patio area is so uneven, we felt it was dangerous to use. Plus, the furniture was very weathered and some parts were missing (hammock) The next issue was no key in the lock box. We called the owners and they gave us a code to a side entrance. Once inside, there was much damage around the house. Wall dents, broken furniture, wall lamps, and game room equipment. You could tell the house has been well used. Also, the main cooking stove only partially worked. It had a double oven, but the large side was broken. We couldn't use the small side except for once because there was only one oven safe dish that would fit inside. We called the owners and they did offer to send a repair tech, but we were on vacation and didn't want to wait around for them and if parts were needed, it wouldn't be ready during our stay anyway. Also during our stay, the AC units on the 2nd floor didn't work well. The air filters were plugged with lint and dirt and the outside condenser unit was being overgrown with a vine. Lastly, I had to make a repair to the 2nd floor bathroom toilet because the plastic flapper broke.

We enjoyed our stay again this time with a few more people than last time but we still found it comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed having the outdoor fire pit a lot, and the game room and kids play areas. Great and fast response from owners when needed.

I have nothing negative to say at all! A great place in a great location for a fun weekend away!
