Highland Carriage House - Great for Couples or Small Family, 4 Min to Beach

Fantastic location. Close to everything in Rosemary- Sky Pool and Tennis Club just steps away. 2 min bike ride to the beach and main street (Barrett Square) of Rosemary. Short and easy bike ride to Alys Beach too! This unit is older and has just essentials, but it’s also charming. Great for trip with my daughter (6) and myself.

Perfect for us —a couple getaway. Comfy furnishings. Quick walk to the beach and the square. Nice farmers market on Sunday. The gulf there is worth the drive - clear and beautiful. Definitely order your beach chair service early with the info provided. Only small con (we made it work) — dorm fridge. We cooked at night and went to the grocery before we arrived. It was a puzzle to get it all in :) Fabulous visit! We hope to book again!

The location could’ve have been better, just a few minutes from the beach and close to great restaurants and shops, yet still tucked away enough to feel quiet & private. Check-in process was seamless and communication with property management was clear and professional. Overall, this was the ideal spot for a couple looking for a peaceful beach retreat. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to return in the near future!

Loved the walkability to the beach and shopping and restaurants. We were there for our honeymoon and plan to come back each year and hope to stay at same location

The location to the square and downtown Rosemary Beach is great only a small walk away. Lots of places to eat, you may need reservations for many during the summer. The unit is above a shared garage, which is nice that you don't share any walls or floors with anyone. It is clean, and cozy. However, note that a set up of chairs, table and umbrella at the beach will cost you around 100 for a day. If you want to lay on a towel, you have to stay within 50 feet within each crossover to the beach. There are little cottages, houses, etc all around, and it's not set up as a regular neighborhood. It's very nice, but you overlook a private pool that is part of a different house rental and people can swim in that pool whenever they choose. We saw about 5-7 kids there, from 7:30am-9:30pm. Glad they were having fun, but we could hear them throughout the unit. Lastly, the wifi/television was pretty bad. Hope they can get something more stable in there. The tv would lose connection in the middle of a movie, and would take time to log back in. The beach is wonderful, water is exceptional. Some days smooth and no waves and some days the complete opposite. We enjoyed our visit, but it could have been a bit less hectic.

The condo was clean and comfortable.The tv’s had no guide to find stations. No information on how to get to the beach or attractions in the area.

Also, I easy drive to go to each beach all the way to Destin.

Location of this property and amenities offered were top notch!! Only minor tip of note for future trips is to bring along some kitchen items if you plan to do more than just microwave those tasty leftovers. (Ie-cutting knives, measuring cups/devices for mixing drinks, etc)

We enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee. There was a wifi problem that was promptly fixed, although the TV in the living room never connected to the wifi - might need to be replaced. Easy walk to everything.

The bed and couch were comfortable, towels plush. We had enough coffee filters for the entire stay..always a plus. Excellent location to shops, restaurants, and the beach. We’ll be back.
