Stayed Oct 5, 2025The backyard was very nice (couldn't use it much because of rain). Outside seating was adequate for 8 of us but the seating in the living area required us to move chairs in from outside. Kitchen was adequate but small. Enough equipment and has supplies for coffee, etc. Two of the upstairs bedrooms are also small with little room for suitcases. Front is a bit of a shock when you first pulled up. Parking is on the street but ok. To watch TV you have to sign in with your own password. Could have a basic cable for TVs.

Stayed Aug 7, 20251 word, syllables. A-MA-ZING!!!! I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely book again for a group trip to New Orleans. Approximately 7 uber ride to the quarters. Convenience store located directly across the street which may have been too convenient because we were in there so many times they knew us by day 2 of the trip. Fully stocked kitchen. Because it rained the first day of the trip the outdoor furniture got soaked. We stood the cushions up to dry them out and they were dry by the next day. So we were able to enjoy the outdoor area the remainder of the trip. We never attempted to turn on the fire pit because early August nights in New Orleans are still 80 degrees with humidity. However, we did uncover it just to look at it and it was nice. The salt water pool was relaxing. It was great because you didn't get out smelling like chlorine. The house is very spacious so everyone has privacy if they want some alone time but not so much so that you feel separated from each other. It honestly was the perfect set up for 4 friends. There were a few questions during the day and Norm was very attentive and responded in a timely manner with assistance. Just my opinion, but they should definitely be charging more but obviously glad they aren't. The price was very good for what you're getting. Thank you so much for an amazing weekend filled with great memories.

Stayed Apr 7, 2025I recently stayed at a property listed as a private home in New Orleans, expecting a comfortable and exclusive experience. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the property is actually a duplex, a detail that was not disclosed in the listing. This lack of transparency was just the beginning of a series of disappointments. The most alarming issue was the infestation of venomous buck moth caterpillars. These dangerous insects were everywhere—from the front of the house to the backyard patio, and even floating dead in the pool. Their presence made it impossible to enjoy any outdoor amenities, as the risk of painful stings was too high.Indoors, the situation was no better. The refrigerator harbored a swarm of gnats that flew out upon opening. Fruit flies and other pests were a constant nuisance, and the entire house had a persistent, foul odor. The towels provided were thin and smelled unpleasant, and the toilet paper was one-ply, necessitating a trip to purchase our own supplies. One of the beds was set on a platform barely three inches off the floor, which, combined with the dust throughout the house, aggravated my severe allergies. The pool was dirty and remained uncleaned until midweek, rendering it unusable for most of our stay.Additional issues included dangerous parking on a busy street, missing TV remotes, a fireplace that couldn't be turned off making the room uncomfortably hot. dead bugs on the bathroom floors, and a shower drain that pooled water, making for an

Stayed Jul 24, 2023The house is located next to a tire shop on a main road and there are lots of broken and piled up pavement pieces in front of the home where you park. Getting out of the car on the passenger side was a little obstructed due to several power lines. The house was nicely decorated and the bathrooms seemed clean, but the pictures make the house look bigger than what it actually is. The pool is comparable to the size of a hot tub with no place to sit- you can’t actually swim but may have 1-2 people who can stand in the “pool” at one time- and the pool water was murky. The secondary lock on the sliding glass door that serves as the entrance is broken (nothing to latch to). Only 3 people can sit in the living room area and there are some bar stools at the kitchen island (3-4 stools, if that). However, these two areas are separated by stairs so you can’t really interact. The home has enough beds for 2 people to share a bed in each of 5 rooms (advertised for up to 10 people), but not everyone can sit in the common areas inside the home at the same time. The majority of seating is outside. The queen size bed located in the “master bedroom” was on a platform, no more than 10 inches above the floor. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet in one of the bathrooms. My group stayed long enough to look- about 15 minutes- then immediately relocated to a hotel. Since I could not get my money back, I did not inform the host we left until the last day of our reservation.
