This is a lovely property and if we come back we hope to book it again. Location is perfect, close to the plaza, and beach. The host provides clean water. And also beach towels, and a mat you can take to the beach. I would suggest you bring Nalgene style water bottles. We did stop by the big American-style market La Comer on the way. Suggestion to not leave food out is right, and a hook & eye lock on the pantry would be helpful! Some tweaks need to be done so drawers and doors open/ pull out smoothly. Ear plugs, if you're a light sleeper, some might think it's a bit noisy. It's a beautiful property, all in all!

It was listed that the pool was heated and it was not.The place was infested with rats and raccoons, but I'm not sure that could've been helped since it's an indoor outdoor house

The house is set into a mountain overlooking the beach and beautiful right in the heart of Sayulita. Awesome. However, the tv, dishwasher, and clothes dryer all were broken and unusable. While the listing says the pool is heated - I'm not so sure. What makes the home unique is you are basically living outdoors - only the bedrooms are enclosed. But having a kitchen outdoors is a problem for scavengers, like raccoons, that we found rummaging around if we left garbage in the bin or food on the counters. The most disappointing part of our stay was that we had a purse stolen from the casita (including passport, credit cards, and medication) the first night we arrived while we were in the villa! The host did not assist or seem all that concerned. We requested a copy of the police report numerous times and never got one.

The location is great. The town is very loud all night long and the property is a little dated but clean.

Five guys on a break from work. Right next to the beach and down town. There were five proper bedrooms with king size beds. Roof top terrace with bbq and plenty of space. Open air kitchen with an addition quiet room. Small pool at the lower level to chill out in after a busy day. Totally awesome. Thank you Olga and Robert!

The location of the home was in the noisiest part of Sayulita. There was loud music, motorcycles and drunk people screaming from sundown to sunup every night. Some of the rooms had thatched roofs or windows that would not shut, so the sound could not be drowned out. The property is very tired and worn down from the sea air. It was a hot and humid weekend and the air conditioning worked ok in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were very musty smelling. The towels and rugs were very thin and old. The showers felt old and dirty. They need new towels and rugs. New paint and lighting. The kitchen was old and tired. The cabinet was broken. The microwave barely heated things. The gas stove would not start until we found a lighter that worked from a store around the corner. The maid service was nice. The pool was ok but always had plant droppings in it. The netting in the upstairs rooftop area had debris. It was very very tired. I know the sea air is tough on real estate but the property needs some help and a good handyman. There was a lemur that lives on the property that was climbing around and was staring in the window one morning that was alarming. There were open outlets that seemed dangerous. It was very hot and humid and needs more fans. We had NO water from Saturday late morning until we checked out. The properties around had water. Ours did not. It was very inconvenient and very uncomfortable.

My siblings and I stayed here and the location is fantastic. It's right by the beach and close to all the action in Sayulita. Everything works well too. The only negative was that some of the bathrooms had really bad lighting and were missing light fixtures above the sinks which made it hard to see at night.

We spent 5 days in this amazing home and it was perfect for our family of 7. Everyone loved their private rooms and very comfortable beds. The pool and roof top “living room” were out gathering places to cool off and visit while on the property. We walked to town for shopping and dining and to different beach locations daily. And beach dining options were so fun and delicious too! We hope to enjoy the property again! The owners and property manager were so communicative from the very first time I contacted them regarding the property and through our entire stay. Thank you!

The property is just steps from the beach & steps from town. Great location!!! We had a fantastic celebration with a group of girlfriends. Spectacular times were had on the rooftop with amazing views. Such a fun extended weekend. Highly recommend!
