HGTV-Featured Lakeview Retreat with Multiple Decks, Game Room & Sunset Views

The house was as expected, clean and well stocked! Overall a very positive experience! My only recommendation would be to upgrade the living room TV to a Smart TV. After several hours on the lake, the kids wanted to cool off and watch movies, for whatever reason we couldn’t get any of the streaming apps to load or connect to the internet (property uses a dvd/blue ray player with some “smart” capabilities). We would stay here again.

Honestly don’t know how this property received 10/10. I’m baffled and maybe my expectations are way too high but not at all what I’m used to. Bedding looked slept in downstairs. Ceiling tiles that appeared to be falling out. Upstairs was ok. Just ok. View was nice but had to overlook all other issues.

It was fun the day we checked in. Love the accessibility to Bluetooth devices and we were able to blast. Down side is the swimming, discouraging because we were up to swimming and having fun there on shore. We avoid the shore due to safety. Please provide a broom and cleaning supplies. On the instructions said things were under the sink and nothing was found not even a broom or mop. We like to leave property as clean and organized as possible. Over all thanks for the hospitality.

Water in Canyon Lake was disappointing and was very low compared to photos shown on vrbo. House was not renovated, kitchen was old, although there were many beds. If it really was shown on HGTV, it's still not worth the price per night.

This property was perfect for our family get together-loved the decks, sunsets and being on the water!

From check in to check out everything was great! Plenty of room for the 6 of us. The view was wonderful and we had access to the lake which is always a must for our crew. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishes. We enjoyed playing games on the game table, grilling on the balcony (again with a gorgeous view), and relaxing by the water. Will stay here again!

House was dirty, a/c stopped up and flooded the bunk room. Very inaccurate pictures online of this home.

We loved our stay at this home. Waterfront with excellent lake views as advertised. It is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy. The home was clean and comfortable. We met our daily workout (cardio) walking down to the lake shore...lol. We look forward to coming back!

The property is very spacious and right off the lake. Great location to swim and fish.
