Heaven's Nest - the BEST views of Lake Tahoe!

This place was wonderful! The pictures don't do it justice. The beds were comfy and the instructions made everything super easy. The stairs were a doozy, but we knew what we were getting into the views were totally worth it. The location was perfect for heading to the Nevada side of Heavenly and lots of great restaurants were within easy driving distance. If I had to be nitpicky, it would be that it's been a few years since we've seen checkout instructions that required stripping beds, taking out trash, and running the dishwasher. I was happy to do so, but it made me realize how uncommon that is these days. Most places we have stayed at just say: turn off the lights, set the thermostat, and have a safe trip. But again, that is very nitpicky! Thanks for a lovely stay!

The view and the cabin itself was amazing… everything about it. Lots of steps getting to the door but we would do it again!!!

This Property is all that you could ask for. Comfortable rooms, incredible deck, great location and yes.... the view. I found it so peaceful just staring out the window looking at the lake and mountains. Even got to watch a Hot Air Balloon land on a boat in the lake. (That excursion will be next trip) The house has everything you need. If you would like to cook at the house, there is a Safeway close, and the kitchen is fully functional. Heavenly Village is less than 15 minutes with all the restaurants, bars and shopping. I recommend Base Camp Pizza. Amazing salads, Pizza’s, Craft Beer and our service was top notch. Access to the house is easy and the highway to drive around the lake is close and really a must! Plenty to do and see on your way around! Overall, an amazing trip and I ask that you give this property a serious look. Don't let the stair comments keep you from having an amazing stay!

Exactly as promised, exceptional experience!

We wanted a quiet place away from the busy-ness of So Lake Tahoe, and this was a great place for that. Just a 15 minute drive to So Lake Tahoe when you wanted to get there. The views were awesome, clearly the biggest feature of this rental property. The ad pics were artfully done, descriptions well written, and the place had great views, but overall we were disappointed with the rental. We heard nothing from the management company until a few days before we got there. As the trip got closer, I hadn't heard anything from them, so I tried to confirm the reservation with an email and just got a you'll hear something about a week from check-in. The smoke detectors low-battery alert went off, so I texted them and heard nothing back. Ended up just taking the detector apart to stop the beeping. Use of the TV's are on your phone or tablet - no cable. We connected quickly, but found using our streaming services with their internet and TV was quirky. Like others, we felt the steps were an issue. The description said there were steps, but that hardly described the extent or height of this place above street level! That was one thing for which there were NOT any pictures of. We're in good shape, and admittedly we live at sea level (house is above 7,200 ft elevation), but we seriously worried about anyone that wasn't in shape or someone older with any medical issues... Nice place but for the money, we found ourselves sitting in this house wishing we had taken other properties in the area.

Such a cool experience being tucked away a bit but also minutes drive to the lake and restaurants. Views were fantastic and the stairs with altitude were great workouts whether you wanted them or not! Once you get to the top you may need a breather before going up the final stairs to the kitchen area haha. Place came with almost everything we needed. One tiny thing I could've brought had I known were tongs as I like to use those for the bbq. Also just FYI the master bathroom doesn't have it's own door so we just used the door to the master bedroom to signal to the other downstairs bedroom user whether it was occupied or not. I guess that person could also share the bathroom upstairs. Can't wait to go back to Tahoe and possibly back to Heaven's Nest! Thanks for the great rental.

I agree with an earlier post. The pictures do not do it justice. The view was truly heavenly. Above 7400 feet above sea level. While we were there, it snowed on Mothers Day only enhancing the trip. Easy to get there and seamless check in. This is my 2nd most favorite trip only behind Capri Italy. We will be back.

The house met our expectations and more. Gorgeous views from all the windows, quick responses from the management team, detailed guest book to address any questions, labels throughout the property to identify lighting, etc., beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, very clean. We were very happy with our stay. The only negative was the stairs to get to the front door, but so worth the climb!

Wonderful property! There a lot of stairs, but my 62 year old mom and I did fine. Nice details, full kitchen, comfortable furnishings. My daughter loved the industrial decor. The AV setup for streaming was great. We would stay here again.

Property was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time, and the privacy and views were fantastic.
