Heaven on Earth Retreat's Wildly Spectacular Cave Castle in the Granite Dells

The property listed 2 beds, one was king and comfy the 2nd was on a platform that you hit bottom when laying down and was not comfortable to sleep on. And, it had a step down that could be a problem if you are not paying attention. You definitely need to be in shape to walk steps or the spiral staircase to reach the bedroom. It was a beautiful building and the grounds were gorgeous. They had tea and coffee, but no creamer or sweetness available. The hosts were there to greet us on arrival.

Absolutely LOVED the Cave Castle, very unique experience altogether.Inside was beautiful & cozy. Outside...refreshing...beautiful scenery everywhere & hiking trails to explore. Will definitely be back.Hosts Happy & Free were awesome, fun & very interesting. Had a really great time!!

We enjoyed our stay. It is a very unique property. Lots of decks and the rock was amazing. The kitchen was stocked well and everything was super clean. The advertised pool was disappointing and the jacuzzi was not for the guests. The advertised 2 bedrooms was also disappointing. One was a futon that was not comfortable and only curtains that separated the 2 beds. It was not 2 bedrooms. It would be amazing if it was just 2 people. A beautiful spa tub and the shower was spectacular. We would stay again but not with another couple.

The rocks inside and outside the home are beyond amazing! Absolute beauty! The Jacuzzi was great, although it would have been ideal if it would have just one step or two to get in and out. The next time we come, we will stay more than one night. From the courtesy guitar and piano to the quiet and private surroundings, It was totally worth the stay. Thank you!

Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of Prescott, it genuinely lives up to its name—Heaven on Earth. Whether enjoying the views, exploring the property, or simply relaxing and taking it all in, we found ourselves constantly amazed.We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this one ranks among the very best. Cave Castle blew me away. Its location and the house layout…it is an absolutely breathtaking property. Hosts Happy and Free were so kind, helpful and accommodating. Loved every second there.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a break from life & found it here. The house itself is incredible. With its inside cave walls & large windows looking out at the Granite Dells - which were right there - next to the house and in the house - it was way beyond anything we could have imagined. It was exactly what we needed.Though our days were spent hiking, jeeping and riding e-bikes (provided by Happy & Free), it was the coming home, here to our cave dwelling & the Granite Dells, that actually out-shown anything else we did.It is truly Heaven on Earth. Huge thanks to Happy & Free for sharing their oasis with us.

Such a lovely place to stay and relax! So many areas to sit around the property and just take in nature. The views are amazing and watching the stars is a must!

We enjoyed morning coffee with the birds, lizards and even a little bitty snake entertained us. Star gazing in the evening was relaxing after daytime hikes in the surrounding areas.

Happy and free are such kind people. We stayed in their Castle Cave. It was unique and extremely clean. The peacefulness of the property with all the many decks and views of the Dells was breathtaking.

It is apparent the hosts strive for a relaxing experience. Every detail of the property is aimed at that goal.

This place would be perfect for someone who wants to be cooped inside of a tiny place packed into a very tight neighborhood with neighbors able to see your every move. It was described as a serene quiet place and the pictures make it seem like an oasis but it felt like quite a compacted, and claustrophobic. It didn’t feel very private. The host are restrictive with the rules and expectations. This was my first time ever renting a Vrbo so I didn’t know truly what to expect but I felt these guidelines should have been listed on the advertisement. I didn’t ask for anything in return, and left there approximately 10 minutes upon arrival. The host has not bothered to respond to my message regarding my decision to no longer stay in the property. Maybe my next attempt at renting through this app will be a better experience. I’ve definitely learned what to look for now.

We had a great overnite visit and wish we could have relaxed a couple more days there to explore the surrounding hiking trails. The home was nice and accommodations were very good.I would recommend this place to friends and family if they ever wanted to visit the Prescott area.

Everything you could hope for! Being able to walk/hike right out the door a plus, LOVE the huge windows at the bathroom sinks. And if you need to see your beautiful self there are mirrors that come out from the sides, but looking at the scenery was so great. Peaceful. Kitchen VERY well equipped. We are also VRBO owners so we are looking at all the details! Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we come back to the area. Thanks for everything!
