Heaven Can Wait Lodge ~ Riverfront Estate on 12 Private Acres ~ Expansive Views

Shannon’s home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was even better than we imagined! There’s everything you could possibly need, the space was immaculate and comfortable and communicating with Shannon was flawless. We had trouble getting to her property due to pass conditions and she was prompt with communicating with us and was extremely accommodating to our family to make sure our stay was nothing short of amazing. We really appreciate Shannon as a host! Thank you for an incredible stay and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Lovely and communicative host, gorgeous grounds, and very clean space. Cozy cabin feel with a super kitchen space. We loved the fun personalized mugs and game room. The teens enjoyed having the upper level to themselves. Plenty of kitchenware and serving ware, what a great multi-family experience.

Great house and property for big group

HCW was the perfect place for our group of 11 to stay for a long ski weekend. Close to the trails, spacious enough to accommodate a large group. We cooked most of our meals - the kitchen had everything we needed including two dishwashers and an endless supply of dishes so we never ran out. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplaces inside and out, and the river view. Great communication with the host with recommendations and information about the surrounding areas. Will definitely come back next year.

The lodge exceed our expectations! It was absolutely stunning and the views were amazing! It was extremely clean even decorated for the holidays! The owner was absolutely wonderful! With unpredictable weather around the time of our stay, she kept us updated and provided an alternative route to get there due to flooding on the pass we were going to be taking. I can’t say enough about how perfect our trip was!Thank you Shannon!

Heaven Can Wait Lodge is a beautiful space with more activities than can be done in a single stay - whether it's the aquatic pool, dry sauna & hot tub; or pickle ball, foosball & billiards. The entire house was clean & comfortable. Our group especially appreciated the three refrigerators and well-appointed kitchen. It was a wonderful location to celebrate a birthday with close friends.

The property was beautiful. Beds were all so comfy. Had everything we could possibly need and more. Shannon is a great communicative host and does a wonderful job. My co workers and I enjoyed our girls weekend at this home very much!

This was our second year in a row staying at Heaven Can’t Wait with our extend family of ten. The return trip was as great at our first time there. The house is perfect with ample space for all of us and separate bedrooms for all four teenagers. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and the pool and hot tub provide entertainment all day long. House is fully stocked and the kitchen is enormous. Highly recommend!

Our second time at this amazing property. We had an amazing time. The views cannot be beat. The pool is huge and the house is cozy.

My friends and I loved our stay here! There were so many activities to do on the property. The only comment I would have is there is no AC, but they supplied lots of fans, we were by the water most of the time, and it cooled down at night so that wasn't a big deal for us.

Everything was perfect. It is as described on the listing. I don’t think there is a kitchen item that been invented that isn’t there. Beautiful home and location.

We had a most wonderful family vacation in this fantastic house. It has everything anyone could possibly want in a getaway home. We were a family of 10, ages 18 to 87, celebrating 2 graduations, needing a place where everyone could have good time. All the rooms were well appointed, the kitchen was fantastic, and between rafting on the river, the pool and hot tub, and the game room, plus all the deck-sitting spaces for games or eating, this place had everything anyone could possibly want. We loved our time here in aptly named paradise.

This house is perfect. Away from neighbors every detail is perfectly thought out. It was the relaxing get away that my group of 12 adults needed. Every bed was comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, and lots of room around the kitchen table.

We stayed here for three days and it was beautiful. The kitchen has everything you could want or need for cooking. It was a relaxing couple of days and next time, we want to stay longer!

Perfect place

We went out for a yearly weekend cabin getaway with a group of couples, this has been by far the best house we have stayed at and the best experience! Shannon was amazing to book with and very friendly, the home was beautiful and we utilized the hot tub and sauna to the full extent. We will book again and hopefully book to to experience the home over the summer! The views were immaculate as well.

House and facilities were excellent.

The property was perfect for our use case: friends with your kids! The house is spacious and has all the things you'll need, and more!

Our family consisted of adult kids, their partners and our 11 year old. Room for everyone to stretch out so we could enjoy each other without smothering. Some of us hung out in the livingroom by the fire while others relaxed in the sauna or played games in the game room. The kitchen is huge and allowed for dinners and baking to occur at the same time. We are definitely going back!

We came up to see Leavenworth over Christmas. It was a bit of a trek to get into town (like 35 minutes or so) but the scenery coming off the mountain was nice to look at. The house was more than large enough for all of us. The teenagers loved the game room with the pool table. The kitchen was awesome and accommodating for my family of 10. Everyone wants to come back up at summer time now. You won’t regret staying here!

Our family stayed at this lovely lodge for our 2024 Summer Christmas Vacation. Each year at Christmas, instead of exchanging gifts, we save our money and book a summer vacation. Our family consisted of 10 people, ranging in age from 1 to 85. It really was heavenly. I can't say enough good things about this home. As others have said, it was very clean, filled with all high quality amenities, located in a peaceful and beautiful area, spacious, etc. For us it was a combination of comfort and luxury. I was a little concerned about not having air conditioning at first because we had a couple elderly people in our group. However, despite temps in the mid 90's, the house stayed very comfortable! Every one of us remarked about how cool it felt, even during the heat of the day. If I hadn't been told, I would have guessed it had AC. Almost everyone said their favorite part was having a swimming pool, but for me it was the gourmet kitchen.

Heaven Can Wait was absolutely perfect for our party of ten. The house and property are beautiful and have everything we needed. There was no need to leave during our three night stay because the property had something for everybody. Shannon responded immediately when we had questions and couldn’t be nicer. We will return!
