Great location & space for a family vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean. Location was great. We had some cold weather during our stay. With that, the heat in the lower level wasn’t working. I contacted the rental company, and she didn’t know that there was a part that was ordered, a waiting on repairs. This was day 3, out of 13. I text her to let her know the heat wasn’t working and we had no water because the pipes were froze. Not a big deal on the pipes. But the heat she told me she would let me know when she knew more info about the heater. I never heard back from her. So we could not use the lower level for our entire 13 night stay. We head home and I email her letting her know, and she told me the heat wasn’t was fixed on the next day after I text her. NO ONE communicated that someone came and fixed the heat in the lower level. This was our first time with Be Our Guest. We will not be using them again

The host is fabulous with a beautiful home and view.

The house, beach and pool were amazing. We had two 1-year olds and the ranch style living coupled with the outdoor deck gates worked perfectly. The deck doubled as a gated outdoor playpen and the private heated pool was a big winner with them as well.

Such a relaxing stay. This was our first time to the Cape and it did not disappoint. We saw a WIDE variety of wildlife and sea creatures. Our first few days we couldn’t really enjoy the beach because the biting flies were so bad, but we were able to relax by the pool without any issues, which was fantastic. The home itself was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We only had to contact Kara once for a minor issue that couldn’t have been predicted or prevented. She responded immediately and remedied the problem quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful house Amazing location on the beach and the pool was perfect

We recently stayed at this beach house and absolutely loved it! The layout of the home was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and great for relaxing or spending time together. One of our favorite parts was the private pool—it was clean, well-maintained, and such a great addition for both kids and adults.The location was also fantastic—just a short distance to local places and close to everything we needed. The only downside was the hill leading down to the actual beach, which was a bit steep—but it wouldn’t stop us from coming back.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly beach getaway. We’d definitely stay here again!

This house holds many wonderful memories for our family. We come back year after year knowing it has everything we will need. The kitchen is well stocked. You are steps from having your toes in the sand. The pool is always refreshing and a kid favorite! Kara is the best and most responsive host. You really can not beat any amount of time spent at At Waters Edge.

The house was exactly like pictured. The host was amazing and had an open line of communication. Our stay was perfect. Highly recommend!

This has been our favorite house for many years.

Fantastic location, sunsets off the beach and seems like a private beach. The home is clean and well equipped with ample parking and would accommodate cars and a boat. . Nice big table to get the whole family around. The pool is a great plus and we utilized it often. The only thing some might find a negative is though the main suite is large some of the other bedrooms are a little tight with dressers in the closets.

This was our third year staying here, and it has been absolutely amazing each time! The house is very well taken care of, immaculately clean, and has everything you could possibly want/need for your vacation. We have four kids, ages 2yrs-8yrs, and they love the option of going to the beach half the day and then the pool the other half. The game room downstairs was wonderful for them to be able to play during those in between times of getting ready for the day or preparing meals. The beaches hardly have anyone on them, although I think one of the kids highlights of the trip was talking to the fishermen we saw on our 2x daily walks to see what they had caught. They even got used to us coming around and would wave us over if they caught something interesting. Everyone was so friendly! Kara is absolutely amazing and checks in to make sure everything is going well throughout your stay. It was hard leaving such a beautiful place. We can’t wait to come back next year!!

One of the most memorable vacations we’ve experienced. The property description is spot on when it says, the beach is the back yard. Definitely recommend.

We had the most wonderful time! Kara and Robby were wonderful hosts in there beautiful home! Little extra amenities that added a special touch. Everything local & walking distance. The cape is a beautiful getaway for retired that enjoy privacy. Heated pool steps to the beautiful Gulf. Local markets & food were perfect. Sweet , kind people wherever we went. We will be back!

At Water’s Edge was cozy despite a winter storm that dropped snow and ice across the panhandle! The location is fantastic—right in the beach and near a store in case you forgot anything. The house is spacious, decently appointed, and has spectacular views. Downsides: we had to deal with an ant infestation; apparently they got cold and wanted to come inside! Also, the fireplace was mildly disappointing. I expected more than a glorified space heater. This would hardly matter any other time of year. Overall a great experience!

I usually like to try new properties, but I will absolutely book this rental again. House was spotless and kids enjoyed having it all steps away. Views were amazing and truly a place to unwind because everything is easy!

Beautiful house with an awesome pool and amazing views.

The property and amenities made for a wonderful, relaxing stay. Some really good local food choices and a well stocked grocery store on the cape were welcome. Very nice area if you are looking for quiet relaxation. The only slight ding we encountered was that the oven, microwave oven, and high traffic areas on the kitchen cabinet handle grab areas were missed during cleaning and had lots of fingerprints and smudges. The rest of the property was spotless. The heated pool and shuffleboard really made it for us. Would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house! Spotlessly clean, perfect location! Kara was on point with communication and proactive. We had a great time, saw dolphins everyday, bonfires every night. Ages 5-52 loved this house! We will absolutely be back again!

This house has an amazing location with beachfront access. Very comfortable.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and well kept. Pool was great and beach was right there! Hated that our trip got cut short to hurricane Helene. Homeowners kept us informed of the evacuation notices and refunded our money immediately.

Thank you-We will be back! Cape is one of our most favorite places and this was our 5th visit- finally found the perfect home for our family. Very clean and well decorated. The master bed is the most comfortable bed, ever. The open concept was perfect. Fully stocked in every way. Skip bringing seasonings… plenty to choose from. Having the pool, major bonus. Beautiful shells found and left on the railing for all to enjoy. Hope next trip there will be many more leading the beach trail. We love Scallop Cove for a quick trip across the street. Traders Post and Webers equally awesome. We truly cannot wait to come back- sad to leave your beautiful home!

Great and Beautiful beach home

Right on the water. Options between the pool or beach was great! Especially for the the kids who wanted to play in the pool and build sand castles. Great location from the grocery store to the local stores and restaurants. Host stayed in communication and was responsive when we thought we had an issue, that turned out not to be an issue at all. Everyone agreed that this was the best place we had stayed.

Loved the location , pool and beach being so near , and the game room was a big hit with us all. Very well maintained home and very nicely furnished. Highly recommended!

We were blown away by the idyllic view, both from the deck and in the family room and dining area. Unbelievable sunsets. My son and I caught fish on almost every cast off the near private beach, including two sharks. Perfect house for family get away. Clean, well stocked and private. Kara was great and responsive to any questions. We are not the type to repeat locations but we are already looking into booking this property next year.

We had such an amazing time! It was relaxing and had so much fun stuff to do. Pool was great, loved having beach so close, and had fun playing games such as air hockey and shuffle board. Found some great shells and water was beautiful for snorkeling, body boarding, and paddle boarding. It was nice having a convenience store across the street. Cape San Blas is such a cool laid back town, and this house and wonderful host made this vacation absolutely great!

This place was perfect for our group, 4 adults and 4 kids. Beach Planet and Gas Station are within walking distance. We loved having a private pool and private beach access at our back door. Beds were comfortable. I was most impressed that all four bedrooms contain a full bath and access outside from the bedrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were amazing! TV’s in every room. We have no complaints. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family loved our stay here. The house is very well equipped with just about everything you could need. The location right on the beach with your own private pool was amazing. Owner was very helpful throughout our trip. Can’t wait to go back.
