HB112 Jus' For Fun: Oceanfront, Ping Pong Table, Private Walkway to the Beach

Great location! Room was clean and had wonderful views. Indoor pool was great until the last day when it seemed the heat was turned off, then indoor pool and hot tub were freezing. Host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We would 100% stay here again!

Very cute house but needs some maintenance and we couldn’t get any help with it.

Deceptively advertised as four bedroom home. Fourth bedroom in basement is so musty and humid, it’s uninhabitable. Outdoor shower is simply to wash off sand after returning from beach.

Great beach with lovely oceanfront views. Tired interior and cobbled together tableware and amenities...extra if you need cable TV on a rainy day.

The peacefulness. Close enough to stores without the crowded streets.

We loved our stay at this lovely house.ur favorite part of the house was the porch. We had beautiful views of the ocean with visits from a couple of dolphins in the morning. We loved rocking in the rocking chairs and the amazing swing that was provided on the porch. You were literally steps away from the beach. The family enjoyed searching for sharks teeth, collecting shells, watching breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and cooking fresh seafood daily. We loved that we had room to roam at the beach. We were there during the summertime and we still had space between cabanas, and still were able to view the ocean from the home. We will be back for sure. Thank you for sharing this home away from home.

The house itself is nice even though it has some apparent age. Perfect size. The ocean access and view is great. Very enjoyable sitting on the porch and watching and listening to the ocean. Quiet area.

This home is just right for 6 people. It's advertised as 8 but that would be a sleeper sofa in a common area. Maybe kids would be ok in it but not adults. There was a huge hiccup for us, but there wasn't any option but to send a couple out to a motel. Long story. We did find the housekeeping to be up to par. That was nice since I did see some places had issues with housekeeping. When I blew a breaker in the kitchen, a technician was sent right away. He was well mannered and very polite. All in all...the trip was fun for our group, although we would have liked to all be together. 3 couples fit perfectly.

This was our 5th vacation at Holden Beach. We had never stayed on the east side of island before. Being on this side, makes everything off the island closer because of the proximity to the bridge. The house was very clean, the beds were already made and towels were in the bathroom. The back porch provides a great view of the beach and you can even see the lighthouse at Oak Island. The kitchen was well furnished and making meals there was not a problem. The decor in the house was interesting (maps, ships, nautical/fishing theme). TV's and internet worked great. We love this place and hope to stay there again.

Nice house, nicely decorated- not the generic craft store wall art you often see. Full, covered back deck/porch, with all the rockers, was a real plus. We are bookmarking this home.
