Stayed Jan 19, 2025The owner did the best they could with small in town location. Lots of noise from nieghbors doing repairs and yard work was a negative. More information about local activities would have been appreciated.

Stayed Aug 19, 2024Enjoyed our week. Everything was in the house you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to town for coffee or to visit the shops. Our last night was spent with Hurricane Hone passing by the Big Island. But we felt snug and safe.

Stayed Jul 10, 2024We had a wedding to go to about 15 min away from this property and also wanted a family vacation. Everything about this home is lovely. Simple, peaceful and short stroll into small Main Street. Highly recommend!!! Manager on site is a great resource and gracious.Home is beautifully decorated in simple seaside eco conscience elegance. Mahalo to our host! We had one of my all time favorite family vacays at the Hawi hideaway! Go to Merrimans over the mountain in Waimea. Beautiful drive! Pololu Valley hike, awesome! Bamboo restaurant, general store, galleries...all relaxing fun country beautifully Hawaiian!

Stayed Mar 6, 2024There's only one improvement I suggest, the shower/tub needs a non slip foot mat to eliminate possible falls. Other than that, it was outstanding in every way. The privacy, the little town less than a block away, and the amazing amenities were absolutely the best. If we decide to return to the Big Island again, we'll try to book it again, and I'm going to let a few couples we know the information about they can enjoy it like we did !
