Always In Season Farmstead Suite sits in a park-like setting with majestic views. This Eco-friendly upcountry property will take your breath away. Spacious, Country Living, Hosts with Aloha.

We are upcountry, so the climate is delightful. There is so much privacy that it feels like you are on thousands of acres.

Executive Suite for the price of a studio. Enjoy the spirit of Aloha in this private setting with a fruit orchard and gorgeous ornamental and edible gardens accompaniedby a magnificent view of the ocean and the nearby Island of Maui.

The property is located eight minutes from Hawi Town, a quaint artist village offering many Eco-activities, great hiking, restaurants, and live entertainment. We are close to excellent snorkeling, swimming, and the best beaches and hiking.

There are only two units on the property. Therefore, you have privacy and quiet. The Zen Pond adds a centerpiece to the diverse landscape. Enjoy a majestic view from your bedroom, lush gardens, and rolling hills down to the sea. At night, enjoy the heavenly skies.

Accommodations include an oversized bedroom, a king bed, and a lovely private bathroom. We converted our double garage into a spacious, equipped kitchenette and living and dining area. Here you will find a library of various books and games. The spacious, 500 sq feet furnished area offers a beautiful garden view when the doors are open. The laundry room for the property is in this area. There is also a delightful courtyard and BBQ area where you can dine outside.

During your stay, you are also invited to harvest whatever you can eat from our orchards and gardens.

We live on the property, but you will have complete privacy and access to us if you need anything. We have one rule at Always In Season; if you need anything, just ask.

At Always in Season, our home is powered by the sun. Forest, pastures, and ranch land surround us, with a few other county homes in sight. We compost, recycle and are avid gardeners.

We are your hosts, Donna and Kevin, and we have years of experience on the Island. We enjoy sharing the special places we have discovered here and assisting you in any way we can to help you have a memorable vacation on the magnificent Big Island. We can arrange for a message in your room and guide you to other health practitioners.

We stayed with Donna and her husband and the property is beautiful. They were very welcoming and helpful. We weren’t around much because we were driving around the island, but they have been there for years and they know a bunch of cool spots to go to. Work 10/10 recommend and will be back in the future!

This is an amazingly beautiful place. You can see the ocean from the bedroom, and when the weather is clear Maui too. There are so many stars on clear nights, and we saw several rainbows. The whole property is basically a tropical garden, with little paths through the woods and citrus and avocado trees, which guests are welcome to enjoy as much as they want. Words and photos can't describe how beautiful and replenishing this location is.The hosts are lovely and welcoming - truly good people. We had several challenges not related to the accommodations while we were there, and they were interested and kind and helpful. The bed is very comfortable. Needing to step outside, onto a covered lanai, for three seconds to get from one room to another is no problem at all. The bedroom is very quiet. The kitchen/living area is more open to the world when the converted garage door is open -- it's basically a massive lanai that can be closed when wanted. One thing to know: stay here only if you like living beings of many species. There are lots of birds, and lots of birdsong. Butterflies and other insects of various kinds. A few geckos. You'll want to protect your food against mice. There are three mellow dogs. Horses and sheep and goats on neighboring properties. And so many plants. Also, there is no microwave, but there are many other ways to cook and heat food, so we found that fine.If you enjoy abundant nature, you will love this place.

We had an amazing time at this perfect retreat in paradise where we could truly unwind. The grounds are beautiful and full of local fruit. On a clear day you can see Maui from the backyard! The host/house sitter were terrific, very responsive and kind. It is the perfect place to relax after a day of site seeing or scuba diving. We will be back for sure!

This part of the Big Island turned out to be my favorite. It's uncrowded, laid back, cooler than the rest of the island, and oh so beautiful. The hosts were warm and friendlly and gave me amazing advice on what to do. The rooms were filled with Donna's gorgeous photography. This was a special and unforgettable stay.

When planning our stay, I didn't realize the main living area is a converted garage with the sleeping and bathroom areas separate (you need to go outside to go between). The kitchen has a full fridge and a good number of appliances but is just a single counter without a stove in a relatively dark room. To get good light you need the garage door open which isn't particularly feasible when it's stormy and is far from private as it's opens onto the main driveway. The weather was very stormy while we were there so we spent each day driving to other parts of the island and only returning at night as there wasn't a nice place to relax if you couldn't relax outdoors. The farm property is lovely with nice views and lots of fresh fruit. The owners are friendly and will stop by each day to check on you and recommend activities.
