Victorian house built in 1905 next to the historic Algiers courthouse, one block away from the ferry to the French Quarter, direct view of Jackson Square sunsets over the St. Louis cathedral, and skyline. The levee has a beautiful pedestrian walkway. Walkable restaurants, shopping and bars. Next door is a unique vintage and consignment art shop called Eclectic Lemonade Boutique. Great art collection, original wood floors and doors previous home to musician Emmett Hardy from the Rhythm Kings.<br>
The space
Master bedroom has king size bed and portable bed. Guest bedroom has a bunk bed with a king size bed at the base.

Guest access
Guest access is through the side entrance on the left side of the house using keyless entree. Shutters have iron latches for added security.

- The ferry station is 1 block away and is the quickest trip to the quarter (5 minute ride) and launches every 30 minutes. Also a relaxing, scenic view of the skyline, river , and Crescent City Bridge.
- The Jazz Walk of Fame is an elevated walk on the Levee along the Mississippi River that takes you through Algiers Point and details historical figures, moments, and buildings in the neighborhood.
- Neighborhood establishments include Eclectic Lemonade Boutique for all of your Gift Shop needs including Gift Wrapping, Vintage Items, Jewelry and Consigned Arts and Crafts. Nighthawk Napolitano which has great pizza and a Sake Speakeasy, Dry Dock Cafe for a nice afternoon lunch in front of the Ferry, Barracuda’s which has the best Tacos on the West Bank, Congregation Coffee for some pep in your step, Toute Suite for Breakfast Fare, Drift Inn Diner for Burgers, Unique Sodas, and Cocktail Floats. Crown and Anchor is the only English bar in the city and has food pop-ups from Cowlicks and others, and Old Point is great for late night drinks and Live Music.
- In the greater New Orleans area, the French Quarter of course is a must to enjoy horse drawn carriage rides, local art, and street music. The WWII Museum is known as the best tribute to its era in the country. Frenchman Street has some of the best live music venues in the city.
- The New Orleans Museum of Art has an exceptional Sculpture Garden and is situated in City Park which is a massive recreational area with Golf Courses and an Amusement Park for all ages.
- The Garden District is a great escape to experience modern commercial shopping and dining, where you can find any sort of food that interests you.
- The Frenier area is a walk on the wild side. At its roots, it’s a fishing town. Here you can take Boat Tours in the Bayou, ride on an Airboat, Canoe and Kayak on Lake Pontchartrain, or Zipline through the Forest. Frenier Landing is a well known historic Seafood Restaurant which has breathtaking Views of the Lake which is the largest inland body of water in Louisiana at 40 miles long and 25 miles wide.
