    I stayed at this property last year and again this year. The stovetop does not work. It turns on and then shuts off. It did it last year and I did not say anything thinking it would be fixed. It was the same this year. Also was not informed that the downstairs shower was out of order. It was not a big issue, but we should have been advised.

    This was a wonderful house. Very clean and comfortable, the kids LOVED the downstairs basement room. Proximity to the grocery store and shopping center was so convenient, less than a 5 minute walk. Proximity to main street only a 10 minute walk. Kitchen had sufficient pots, pans, potholders, bowls, plates, silverware. Excellent supply of towels, toilet paper, & paper towels. Great large sized washer/dryer. There was no microwave, but the toaster oven was sufficient. We used the outdoor fire pit several nights, which was a nice perk.It is an older house with a few cosmetic flaws that are to be expected, but nothing off-putting.I recommend this house for your next vacation!

    There were no pictures of the basement. It was a dorm room set up in the basement. There were no hot pads in the main kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet. There is a nice place to set out back of home.

    Loved the location. Easy access to all the activities outside of Gunnison. Qwaint neighborhood, very quiet. Lots of bicycles and walking distance to pretty much everything in town worth doing.

    Everything was great on our stay. The location was convenient and walking distance to restaurants, groceries, etc. The house had everything we needed for coffee and cooking.

    1. House was not clean! Bedspreads on the two main floor bedrooms had hair and rodent droppings on them. Pots, pans, and dishes were not washed. Kitchen cabinets were dirty and had spiders and spider webs in them. Bathrooms and cabinets were filthy. 2. I purchased light bulbs for living room and bedroom. Four light fixtures were missing bulbs. One bedroom lamp’s power cord was spliced together with masking tape and was hot to the touch! Extension cords were used extensively throughout the house. The electrical risk of having multiple extension cords in all rooms of the house made me concerned that the old 1940 electrical box was over tasked and a fire risk. 3. Kitchen was poorly equipped. The owner only responded to me by text after many inquiries as to where basic kitchen utensils would / could be found. I was informed via text that she did not provide any. No can openers, measuring cups, or such were not to be provided. No broiling pans or any type of oven safe cooking dishes provided. 4. Black mold on carpet in the basement Basement carpet has not been cleaned in years. Multiple stains and trash left on carpet. Broken window in basement bathroom allowed multiple insects and bugs to infest basement. Laundry room has not been cleaned in years. Floor covered with debris and drain was a tetanus risk. 5. Drapes on the two main floor bedrooms were the longer puddle style drapes that lay on the floor. The problem with such was that the extra four feet of drapes on the floor have not been clean in years and was nest for bugs, dirt and filth. 6. Upon arrival I could smell that there was a dead rodent or something behind the refrigerator. Contacted owner and was told that the earliest she could get someone over to check on such was eight days. 7. Master bedroom bed was unsafe to sit on much less than sleep on. Missing connection bolts. 8. The smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector on the first floor had been disabled. 9. No smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector in the basement living quarters. 10. There was mold inside the coffee maker. 11. Window coverings on some windows missing due to being broken and not replaced. 12. Refrigerator was old and the crisper and vegetable drawers as well as some shelving had either been removed or had been broken and not replaced. 13. No mattress pad or protective covering on any bed. The thin non fitting fitted sheets were over stained bare mattresses. 14. Basement access stairwell had handrail missing on o
