Welcome to Mellow Yellow, a relaxed beachfront bungalow where the beach begins just outside your back door. Step from the rear Gulf-side porch directly onto the sand, spend the afternoon in the private pool, and settle into the easy rhythm of a true coastal getaway.

This inviting two-bedroom beach home is made for families, couples, and small groups looking for a comfortable place to recharge by the water. Whether your ideal day includes sandcastles, swimming, fishing, island dining, or simply lounging outside with the Gulf breeze nearby, Mellow Yellow gives you a simple, convenient home base for it all.

The Home
Mellow Yellow offers two bedrooms, flexible additional sleeping space, and a layout designed for easy beach living.

The primary bedroom includes closet storage, curtains, a Smart TV with streaming access, and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower. The guest bedroom features two queen beds in the same room, along with closet storage, curtains, and a Smart TV with streaming access. This setup works especially well for families with children, cousins traveling together, or friends sharing the space.

A sofa bed offers additional flexibility for sleeping arrangements, and a Pack ’n Play is available for families traveling with an infant or toddler. Please note that the final maximum guest occupancy and the primary bedroom’s bed size should be confirmed before booking if they are important for your group.

Both bathrooms have showers only, with no bathtub. Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom.

Living Room And Entertainment
After a day at the beach or pool, relax in the living area with comfortable seating for approximately five guests and a VIZIO TV. Every bedroom also includes a Smart TV with streaming access, so guests can enjoy separate movie nights or unwind with their favorite shows.

Board games are available for low-key evenings, rainy-day entertainment, or family time between beach adventures. Whether you are gathering in the living room, making breakfast in the kitchen, or enjoying a sunset from the porch, the home is set up for a laid-back stay.

Kitchen And Dining
The kitchen is equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to easy family dinners. It includes cookware and dishware for up to 12 guests, a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, blender, Magic Bullet, and waffle iron.

Indoor dining includes a table for two, island seating for four, and four TV tables for flexible casual meals. Prefer to dine outside The front porch includes a table with two chairs, while the Gulf-side porch has two tables with seating for four. Start your day with coffee outside, take a break from the sun for lunch, or enjoy an easy dinner with the sound of the water nearby.

Private Pool And Outdoor Living
The private pool is a favorite feature of Mellow Yellow. Its irregular shape measures approximately 30 by 15 feet and is surrounded by a code-compliant pool fence. Spend the day swimming, lounging on one of four chaise chairs, or gathering in the five Adirondack chairs while the group relaxes outside.

The home’s front porch and rear Gulf-side porch give you multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. The rear porch leads directly to the beach sand, allowing you to move easily between the pool, house, and shoreline throughout the day.

For everyone’s safety, children must be supervised at all times around the pool and beach. Please keep the pool gate closed and latched, do not bring glass into the pool area, and use the pool responsibly.

Direct Beach Access
Mellow Yellow is a true beachfront home. The beach sand leading to the water is directly accessible from the rear Gulf-side porch no driving, crossing busy streets, or searching for public access is needed.

This direct access makes it easy to take an early-morning walk, spend the afternoon at the water, return home for snacks or a nap, and head back outside for sunset. It is beach living at its easiest.

Please check local weather, tide conditions, beach flags, and any posted water advisories before swimming. Guests use the beach and pool at their own risk.

Location And Local Favorites
Many nearby places are walkable, and golf-cart or bicycle rentals are popular ways to explore the island.

Local options include BJ’s Pizza, Blue Parrot, Paddy’s Raw Bar, The Sandbar, Subway, food trucks, and Aunt Ebby’s Ice Cream. Piggly Wiggly is nearby for groceries, snacks, and beach-day essentials.

For exploring beyond the beach, visit The Lighthouse, the public island park with pickleball courts, basketball courts, a children’s playground, and arcade activities, or spend time at the nearby state park. Fishing charters are also a great option for getting out on the water and experiencing the coast from a different perspective.

Parking, Laundry, And Entry
Self check-in is available via a Wi‑Fi-enabled smart lock. Your individual entry code and arrival information will be sent before check-in.

The driveway has room for up to four vehicles. Street parking is not permitted, so please make sure all vehicles in your group fit in the driveway. If you expect more than four vehicles, please arrange alternative parking before arrival.

For added convenience, the home has a stackable washer and dryer located in the closet on the right when you enter the house especially useful after beach days or for longer stays.
