The reviews don't lie! My family and I had a wonderful time at this house. The house is awesome - its in great shape, very clean and everything worked just fine. Plenty of amenities provided for playing games (my kids loved the ping pong table) and enjoying the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing vacation for us. I would highly recommend this house. The hosts make everything very easy. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Loved staying at this property! House was very clean, well-stocked, and hosts were responsive and welcoming. Check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. Location was perfect with easy access to the lake/boat ramp, plenty of parking, great outdoor and recreational spaces. Pet-friendly house was a perk for our furry family members. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back for more fun in the sun and water!

The kayaks, and the lily pad and even the hoops in the garage really did make our stay extra enjoyable! Thank you so very much for allowing us to enjoy your place. It was the best birthday ever!

Wonderful Stay on Lake LBJ!Our stay was fantastic! The house was very clean, and everything worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the game room with ping pong and basketball hoops, and the two kayaks were a great bonus!There were plenty of dining and seating options, for both eating and playing board games. The AC and heating worked great, and the area was quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and we slept very well.The kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and the modern appliances made cooking easy. The hosts were wonderful—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.The setting on Lake LBJ is beautiful, and we felt right at home. With a reasonable rental fee, we definitely plan to return again!Thank you!

We loved our stay. Everything was amazing.

Everything was just as pictured. We liked the split levels so that everyone had privacy when wanted. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. This is the first of many VRBOs I've stayed in where there were so many amenities provided by the property owners. I really appreciate the extras of the daily needed products, more toilet paper, dishwasher pods, hand soap in bathrooms and trash bags than we needed. Our hosts were available immediately when we needed to contact them. My family enjoyed the location, the views, and the accommodations. Other notes: Really comfortable beds, lots of extra pillows, blankets, very clean and beautifully decorated.

This lake house was the perfect getaway! Super clean, beautifully furnished, and the kitchen had better cookware than I have at home. The views from the back porch and dock—especially at sunrise and sunset—were absolutely stunning. The house included plenty of lake toys to keep us entertained. It was also conveniently located just a few minutes from HEB. The host was incredibly responsive, replying within minutes every time I reached out. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be booking again!

Vertmy quite, clean, and beautiful views

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Escape! The house is in a perfect location for swimming and boating. The sunset is beautiful from the balcony and the dock. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the game room was so much fun! The owners gave a quick response when I had a question. We’ve stayed at many places on LBJ over the last 10 years, and this was everyone’s favorite!

We had a little family end of summer get together. Ages ranged from early 60's to a 4 year old. This place was very well laid out and easy to have everyone together for fun times. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sunset Escape I! Breathtaking views of the lake and scenery across from the house was so relaxing! Plenty of room for everyone! Every amenity we could think of was provided: from toiletries, to fully appointed kitchen with all the utensils, cookware and bakeware you could need! The outdoor amenities were awesome as well: the kayaks, lilypad and outdoor grill. Great boat & jet ski lifts! So easy to get to and the private neighborhood boat ramp is just a few houses away! All of these amenities helped make our stay seamless & exceptional. The hosts respond quickly and made us feel welcome!

The location was great and the house was perfect of us. Having a boat dock that would work with our boat sealed the deal for us!

The house was well stocked for cooking as well as use of the lake toys. It made for a very simple and relaxing week for our family. It is a busy part of the lake with the sandbar so close, which makes the water kind of rough but also a good place to watch the boaters. We even saw a plane land/take off from the water from the dock. The host was quick to respond to any questions and was very easy to work with. Being able to bring our dogs was an added bonus. Will definitely look for Scott and Evelyn’s place again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset Escape! The home is gorgeous and the amenities are perfect. My kids really enjoyed the lily pad and the game room. I loved the kitchen (with everything you need!) and the sun room. We enjoyed lounging on the dock and watching the sunset. The kayaks were also such a great addition, with all the various sizes of life jackets available as well. It was such a great vacation escape and we will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time at Sunset Escape! Loved being on the lake, being able to use the boat slip, and fish off the dock. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and also close to our fav Sand Bar and Wake Point. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here! Great Memorial Day weekend!
