Stayed Mar 27, 2026Clean rooms, amazing property, close to the areas we were visiting. We will come back next year. Only recommendation and if I missed it I apologize but a big push broom to clear off the steps, patio and hot tub area. We tried our best to keep the home clean and leaves, debris out of the hot tub but a garage style push broom would hwv helped. Again if I missed it my bad. Can't wait to come back next year!!!

Stayed Dec 30, 2025Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is good but not well maintained. Super dusty, ants everywhere along with cobwebs as soon as you enter. Would not recommend or come back.

Stayed Nov 11, 2025Heart Of The River really has it all! I truly couldn't have enjoyed my stay any more — the property is gorgeous, well stocked with everything one might need, and the management overseeing the rental were professional, kind, and readily available whenever I had a question or needed something. I had a relaxing and restorative getaway, and absolutely plan to be back.

Reviewer Comments: This home was the perfect home base for a fun-filled weekend in Guerneville. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the sweet scent of the apple tree in full bloom—it was pure magic walking into the courtyard!The house itself is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home.There were three of us this trip, but there’s plenty of space for a larger group. I also housed some of our Women’s Weekend staff here and was so glad to have placed them somewhere so thoughtfully cared for and well-appointed.There are so many extras throughout the home that made it feel special—and next time, we’re definitely playing the arcade game in the casita!Highly recommend. We’re already dreaming of our next stay.

Stayed Apr 12, 2025Everything about this rental was charming, and our tween loved having the casita to themselves for independence. We saw California quails hanging out in the little courtyard, and lots of hummingbirds. It was really nice having the dedicated off-street parking spot too. We had some plumbing issues (a major leak) in the kitchen and prop mgr was responsive and timely to address, though we were left with a mess to clean up. We'd definitely stay here again nevertheless. Quiet and relaxing.

Many thoughtful touches made it even better, like a turkey roasting pan and baster waiting on the countertop. Everything was just perfect. Many family members said it was the best house we've ever rented. Thank you, Wright family, for many happy family memories to cherish!
